A good option for a beer stop on a tour of Friburg's pubs. They have a interesting monthly beer special, June's Amber Ale making for a pleasant change from the German regulars.

Great food and wonderful atmosphere. Service was also exceptional. We made a mistake and ordered a banana beer, it wasn't bad but I think the other beers would have been better.
Martin's Brau serves good German food and beer in a nice setting. However, the restaurant was crowded and noisy and the service was not very good. The location is right in the city centre, so it is quite easy to find.
