It is the best ice cream place in Freiburg, especially the pistachio ice cream. Why I don’t give 5 is the fact that they never let you seat there if you get ice cream in a cone even if you want to drink something and also they served ice cream without wearing a mask or gloves during our visit in Corona time.

Every time I go to Freiburg for any diferent reason someone always invites to visit there and have a cup of coffe, or a nice icecream, always good done and with a very eficient atendents!

I have been to several ice cafes in Freiburg and was alerted to this one by local reviews which said it was #3. The products here are definitely the best I have tasted in Freiburg. The location is easy to find, right near the Theatre. If you have to walk to get here it is worth it. Recommend the double spaghetti ice.

I ordered my spaghetti ice cream with yogurt and they added 90 cents to it without telling me beforehand, but the ice cream was still vanilla ice cream.
The waffle on the spaghetti ice cream was dried out and old.
I then found mold on the edge of our glass and when I mentioned it they just told me that they couldn't help us.
The customers in front of me were shouted at by the staff and treated rudely.
The worst ice cream I've ever eaten, my partner and I both threw up afterwards, I assume the milk in the milkshake was no longer good because it tasted weird.
Never again!!!!!!

If there were 0 stars that’s what I would have gone for. Arrogant servers who have no clue… Served by three different people. One of them was unable to say cash only. So left us hanging while the ice cream which wasn’t great to start off continued to melt. Eventually her colleague came and said cash only. When xi lifted my head to pay it was a third person and he had no clue what we were paying for. Ice cream not worth the hassle… nothing special at all. Wouldn’t recommend

The ice cream was highly recommended by friends living in the area. It was our desert after dinner and we where really looking forward to it. Also the incredible amount of people waiting in line promised a lot.
We had three different flavors, three times we were amazed by how bad the taste can be. Worst was Raffaello, which tasted like the milk was sour. The others were tasteless or only resembled hardly what it was supposed to be.
The scoops where also terribly small, like the vendor is very cheap and wants to rip off customers. At one point I had the impression that they were close to taking back ice-cream from the cup because it was slightly too much.
And most amazingly, during a global pandemic the staff does not wear simple gloves but touches the cone and cash? Terrible health hazard.

My daughter lives in Freiburg and we have visited this place on and on in the last 5 years. On this occasion our daughter had to sit down on the outside chairs to breastfeed her youngest and we were rudely send away and not allowed even to order a coffee as be had already obtained ice cream from their own takeaway ( long wait baby as the do demanded unpredictable feed) . No child friendly Italians here!

The ice-cream is OK, but definitely not the best one in town. The location is of course great (close to the city and the theatre) but some male staff members are very unfriendly. I do not need to support this.

This is historical Italian cafe located near the theater, in the very downtown of Freiburg. This cafe is popular mostly due to very good ice cream, and big choice of cakes and drinks. Always crowded, friendly service

The ice cream is average, by non italian standards. This place would not survive in Italy thats for sure.
We also tried the black forrest cake. It was dry and drained in kirsch...

One of the few places where ice cream is at least acceptable (most Italian ice cream shops in Germany could never survive in Italy). The decor is nice Italien Kitsch: I like it. Very good hot chocolate, some good sweets.
