If you love wine (and excellent "petite mixte" artisan cheeses and meats), run, don't walk, to La Cave. The Patron has hauled 9000 bottles halfway up a mountain, and created a gem of a wine bar. You can take the wines away as well (at retail prices), but frankly, why bother. The prices are very fair for the quality on... More

We stopped here on the way back to our accommodation after a great days skiing!! The recommendation for the wine and cheese selection was outstanding! We have a glass of champagne also and really enjoyed the evening! They have a dress code after 7 o'clock! Pre booking is a must later in the evening!

This has to be one of my fave spots in Val d'Isere. Aside from the fact we have the lovely Antoine to chat to and help us pick the best wine, it's cosy, warm and you can hear yourself think. Plus it's adult friendly (ie no children). We either order the charcuterie & cheese platter or on occasion huddle round... More

Nice and cozy place, you already feel at home but even better once you meet Antoine, the owner. The quality of the wines and "tapa" style boards served were a treat from the bread, the charcuterie, the excellent pate to the cheeses...He's a man who knows what he's serving...and has also excellent taste in music! Our little group ended up... More

We spent the week in this wine bar. The wine list is massive sooo much choice and the charcuterie and cheeseboards are a great accompaniment to the wines. It's a place for adults really not children. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Look forward to going back again.

First, this is strictly a wine bar for grown ups. It's friendly, comfy and a great place for a quiet drink after skiing. It's not Folie Douce. Thank God. Antoine, the owner, is an ex-chef, and knows his stuff. Tell him what you like and he will find you something extraordinary and tell you a good story to go with... More

By far my favourite bar in Val d'Isere. Only sells wine and the choice is great, even better when you have it with the charcuterie/ cheese available. Cosy, relaxed atmosphere and lovely welcoming staff.

IT's not a restaurant but a wine merchant and a wine bar. We sell some plates of finger food with the wine by glass or by bottle. No reservations. First arrived ,first served.
