My cousin, father and I stopped here for lunch on a quick tour of Perouges. They had a very tasty Cotes du Rhone which we all shared. None of us were too hungry, so we all ordered salads and shared French fries and frogs. The frogs were good but they remained hot until the plate was empty! I was surprised... More

Good spot for lunch or dinner in Perouges and open outside of the season even if the terrace itself isn't. Good food well served and priced correctly served by friendly staff. I was very happy with my meal there.

This is a nice spot with terrace seats in Summer and stsys opens for locals outside of thd season. We had a very nice Camembert roti with fries both well served snd nucely done. I had a rather nice local brown ale winter beer which aldo went down a treat. We found the service friendly and fast but in mid... More

This medieval village has many original buildings from the 1400's as well as rebuilt buildings. The tree in the village center was planted later during the French Revolution. The starkness of the church is a reminder of the times. Stop in the cafe in the village center for some hot, mulled wine and a "galette" (sugar pastry). And make sure... More

If I could give this place a zero, I would! I truly could not believe how terribly we were treated. My French is admittedly not very good, but I do try! We came in on the afternoon of 05 September and intended to ask if they were open for lunch (many restaurants were closed). There were two women who were... More

Not so sure this restaurant merits it's apparent top spot as the best place to eat in Pérouges - but then without eating in them all you can't tell!! I'd dropped by in person at 17:30 to check the restaurant was open and to book a table for two on the much hyped "terrace with a fine view" and the... More

I loved this place. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was attentive without being over the top. It felt like a local little gem, with no pretense. I ordered one of the menu options. I chose a tomato and mozzarella salad, a sausage dijonnaisse, and a galette de Pérouges for dessert. I loved every last bite. There are... More

Where do you start... Terrace is a ramshackle diy project not yet finished. Service is friendly but very basic. However, food is good and plentiful. We shared two entrees and it was enough. Is this the best in Perouges? Probably.

We had dinner here. Location wise it can’t be beat in the medieval town of Pérouges. If you sit on the terrace you can look over the green surroundings. Initially they were a bit rude when we entered in the restaurant and stated that they only opened in 10min (at 19.00 and it was 18.59) Owning a business myself I... More
