I had a really nice evening with my girlfriend at Le Canut et Les Gones. We shared a scallop dish as starter and both had rabbit as main course. I have never eaten rabbit before, but it was truly fresh and tasty. Our waitress was very friendly and I really liked the restaurant´s ambience.

The title i selected is not by chance...This restaurant is a typical example of great Lyonnaise kitchen! The decoration is simple but with great character and style, the service is discrete and always helpful and the food is just excellent. We had the menu and from starter to main course to dessert all the dishes were very creative, both in... More

We had wonderful meals for lunch and dinner. This restaurant is very popular, especially for dinner on the weekends, starting on Friday, so make sure you make reservations. The prices are reasonable and a good value for creative, tasty food. We had very good, friendly, English speaking service.

We tryed to phone the restaurant for booking but they did not answer , so we decided to walk over and try our luck. When we arrived there they waved us away with rude hand mimic and unpleasant language. The food may be good but I suggest you skip these rude and manner less personnel.

Lovely warm and relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful service, delicious food. Having read Jay Rayner's article in The Guardian, we felt we had to seek this place out and we were happily rewarded! I would trust anything on the menu - it was difficult to choose! The retro decor kept us amused, as did trying to choose which of the... More

I visited there with my friends. Stuffs are friendly and comfortable, foods are also good. For the dinner, we ordered menu, costs 29 euro, was decent in terms of price, but it was quite normal. Also the vegetables are too cooked, something disappointing. Although the chef was not there, it may be different if he was there.

We came here with a group of friends for a meal whilst on a city break in the city. Like many people we'd booked after reading the guardian review and were not disappointed. The food is absolutely delicious - fine dining at a very reasonable cost in a relaxed/cosy environment. Definitely our favourite of all the restaurants we visited over... More

I am not sure how this bistro-style restaurant - tucked away in a district a little to the north of the absolute centre of town - has avoided any Michelin stars. Perhaps it is the very eccentric, but somehow also authentic and entertaining 50’s retro styling. The atmosphere is actually warm and informal, with lots of comforting wooden bars and... More

This restaurant happened to be just around the corner from where my wife and I were staying in Lyon (La Croix- Rousse). We went there on our last night in Lyon which was a huge mistake, it will be the first place we go to next time. The food was fantastic with many great twists on french classics and cuisine....
