Ate a weird tasting pork terrine for starter then a way too large tartare (raw beef) that tasted just ketchup. It was also hard to eat the tartare since the meat was not chopped properly and full of tendons. For dessert the creme brule tasted just alcohol. What was the best then? The coffee and the really nice waiter.

Great French food with some warm hospitality from the staff. No English menu but the waiter took all the efforts to explain every dish in detail. Nice ambience and absolute value for money.

Deserves it's high ranking and rave reviews. A favourite among the locals and neighbourhood. We were there for lunch and got the only table available., all the others were reserved. Cute place, lots of kitschy decor but fun and comfortable. Very friendly waiter.. All by himself but keeps everyone happy. Several plats du jour, entrees etc. The three course lunch... More

We came here on the recommendation of our fellow tripadvisor reviewers and were not disappointed! We initially arrived at 5pm on a Thursday evening only to find that they were not yet opened for dinner service. A gentleman from a neighboring restaurant kindly told us that they weren't open until 730pm at night, so we came back a second time.... More

Like most places in Lyon, this places serves mostly Lyonnaise fare. Like some other places in the city, this places does it's Lyonnaise fare exceptionally well. But what other places don't usually have is the amazing homey atmosphere - the staff is super nice, light and casual, and having dinner there almost feels like having dinner at your family's place.... Small place but very nice to visit. The waiter is so nice and he tries to translate the menu to different languages. The tartare is wonderful!

In a street of restaurants, a friend and I thought Les P'tits Peres looked inviting. It did not hurt that the menu was in both French and English. Esteban, the waiter was personable and friendly. The food was delicious. We returned with more friends a week later for an equally good meal. Duringthe earlier meal my Kindle had slipped from... More

I went - followed recommendations from Trip Advisor. Not disappointed. FOOD was good. Set_Menu €30. Could not match this quality, price and 'friendly service' back in Manchester. I sat outside. I would sit inside next time. Unexpected Cosy place in a downtown area. Go. Great value.

By accident we found this place; walking by the atmosphere looked great, it had lots of locals, it was busy and interesting menu. We were seated immediately, don't expect something topnotch, but very friendly waiter. Took the time to explain there whole menu in English. And even suggested some local dishes that we might like. Great food!

The service was very good. We did get the card, but had to wait for the explanation of the card. The card was explained in detail (for us in English). We did have a very pleasant evening in this restaurant. The small restaurant is full of bric a brac. It was fully booked, so make a reservation. The food was... More
