My son and his girlfriend visited today. It was a treat for them but was spoiled by poor patronising waiter. They enjoyed their food but would rate the service poor

On a sunny day the views from here are frankly stunning. This compliments the food and the service which are very good. Book a window table for a memorable meal

My most favourite lunch of the holiday. Kidneys delicious and table on our own as it was a lunch for 14. Everyone enjoyed it immensely. Love to go back one day.

Visited while skiing the 3 valleys and was blown away by the food. There is open grill in the middle of the restaurant which is where all the meat is cooked, the chef is a very very talented man as they cook this meat to perfection over coals, it's amazing to watch. Desserts are amazing and the wine list extensive,... More

One of 1850's lunching experiences, La Soucoupe is a must if you like 'proper' food served traditionally at 2,000m. Beware though - it is going to cost you, but it will be worth it. If you do not fancy eating, La Soucoupe is also great for people watching. You will see all sorts doing all sorts of things! Meat at... More

the food is over rated and expensive. it's not correctly priced for the value. the view is nice from the mountain top but you will need to ski all the way down after lunch so sorry, no wine and bear for lunch.

We came to Soucoup at lunch time hoping for a welcome and some warming soup. We looked at the menu and were prepared to pay 18 Euros per person for onion soup. Although the restaurant was almost empty, we were told it was all reserved but we could sit at a large table in an alcove with about 8 others.... More

What a pleasant surprise when we stopped to warm up. We walked in, without a reservation and sat by the grill. There was a lovely area with a wooden table and comfy sofa where we had a glass of red wine and onion soup. Really a delight! Great atmosphere. This is definitely how I like to ski.
