We chose to sit inside. The long tables were comfy and we had decent food in a relaxed pace. Decent food in a decent price. The staff were mixed - one lady was pleasant but inefficient, the other lady stern and abrupt but very efficient.

Would recommend this for a good night out. A good mix of people in this place. Great for after skiing and late into the night.

The best & lively ambiance in Chamonix for after ski/MTB/climb beer / fast food. All locals are there, great choice of beers. The burgers and paninis are super and you have to try the wings.

Our group of 8 arrived starving and Elevation 1904 delivered. We hopped off the train, grabbed a couple tables and enjoyed our first meal in France. Sandwiches and salads are excellent.

Contrary to popular belief, this first street cafe restaurant was the most popular in a row of many. People sometimes say don't stop at the first place you see. 1904 was right across the train station and post office here in Chamonix. We had burgers and salads, simple but good food at reasonable prices. Pauline their waitress was friendly and... More

My wife and I visited this spot in July 2016, and we were very pleased with dinner. We both had versions of burgers (my wife had a veggie burger) with fries and both were very good. The plate of fries was huge. The waiter made a wine recommendation to me which was outstanding. This place seems to be a popular... More

Great place to stop when you've had a busy day on the mountains. Reasonably priced food, very large portions, even a sandwich and fries is a lot to get through. Good atmosphere, very lively. Can eat inside or out. Lots of tables outside where you can sit and watch the sun go down over the mountains.

Great beer, great food, friendly staff, fabulous location, added bonus of incredibly varied clientele - it seems to appeal to all. Been visiting Chamonix for years and we have found it so good here that we keep going back for more despite there being so many other places to eat and drink. It's had an upgrade this year with new... More
