It was so good that I went twice during my one-week stay, then the lady who served us remembered us! Everyone was very friendly and you could feel their passion too. Very cozy ambience. High quality food with a twist in traditional French cuisine. Good varieties of dishes too.

If they gave 6 stars if give it. Loved this place - favourite in Chamonix. Beautiful food, friendly service, nice atmosphere and lovely wine list. I had the mushroom ravioli which was delicious. Others had pig confit, hot fondant pudding and French toast. All dishes were fabulous, full of flavour and just yummy! This deserves to have more of a... More

The server helped us select a very satisfying wine and every aspect of our meals were perfect. The steak with mustard sauce was a taste treat and the vegetables were just as carefully prepared. The warmed chocolate mini cake with mango sorbet was a perfect pairing of sweet with a little tart.

We sat down late at an outside table, drank a bottle of wine and watched the people go by. Great food. Shrimp curry was great, and the steak was fantastic.

Everything made to perfection. The waiters very friendly. The street the restaurant is makes up for the wonderful ambience. The menu is rich and tastes for all pallets. If we had room to eat we would have gone for the set menu. Would only suggest they improve speed of service as you can expect the wait for the food to... More

We wanted to experience an authentic French cuisine and Le Chaudron was a really good choice. It's a small, family restaurant with a pleasant ambience, great fresh food & attentive service. Our fondue meal was exceptional! Jambon sec ham on the side was freshly cut and we saw the kitchen chef showing/weighting steaks in front of the other customers before... More

A small restaurant with a lot of charm. The menu has what-ever you need if you're into local food. Food is tasting great and service is just as it should be. Here you will enjoy a good dinner. Atmosphere is cosy and warm. You will leave with a smile on your face. Absolutely worth a visit.

Friendly excellent food. Thai beef tartare was exceptional and the cheese fondue (soup) encroyable. Really reasonable price for the quality of the food and the location. Not as touristy as some of the other tacky restaurants. Nice open kitchen to see the happy chef working his magic

My husband and I were wandering around Chamonix looking for dinner without reservations and found Le Chaudron- great food in a small, intimate setting with a view of the incredibly tiny kitchen. Great food and menu. While others have complained about slow service, the kitchen is tiny and everything appeared to be cooked to order, so good food takes time.... More

well presented food, extensive wine collection, great location, delicious flavors, steak was generous and delicious, they use a big green egg to cook their meat, snails were great as well, not cheap but get what you pay for! a few items on the menu were sold out which would have been good to know before we decided what we wanted.
