We ate here twice recently, once as a couple and once as a four. Both times we shared the platter starter, it changes with the day's shopping but included fantastic tiny garlic clams, calimari, ceviche etc. The first time I had bouillabase - very good...indeed! - but the second time it wasn't available so had the l'aile which is seafood & fish with potatoes and veg in a bowl, a local speciality. Husband has the chicken which was spiced with lemon and tumeric; it was chicken legs which he doesn't normally eat, so the fact he wolfed it down is testament to the quality. No 'wine list' as such, but the house choice was good each time, and the owner and son combo were charming and attentive.More

We had dinner tonight at this restaurant and found it OK. I had a seafood dish and others in my party tried the chicken. All OK. Service was excellent but something seemed missing in our experience. Might be my fault not caring for French food...after three weeks in France.More

We book last min via fork. The food was great. We were not hungry but still managed to have a dessert 🍮. Place is nice and vivid. The whole experience was a lot better than our experience at Michelin 2 star restaurant near by.

We ate here several years ago and were eager to revisit this cute restaurant. It was good to see the chef and his wife were still here and the food was as delicious as before. We chose to eat inside as the patio is on...the busy ring road. I had the smoked salmon starter, then the fish stew, a speciality of the house and finished with a fabulous cafe gourmand! Unlike a previous reviewer, we had no problem at all with a language difference, quite the reverse! Booking in advance might be advisable.More

Really enjoyed our visit here. We had bouillabaisse and the fish was really tasty. The butter out of this world! Very friendly staff and nice smart / simple atmosphere in a convenient location. There is parking on the streets around and behind the restaurant.

This is a charming little place in St Rémy de Provence, we stopped in midweek for for dinner, no without a reservation. The sweet owner made room for us even though she was quite full. I had the bouillabaisse, specialty of the house. I think...it might be the best meal of my life, 30 euros give or take, simple yet unbelievably delicious. The hostess/owner/waitress helped us through the language barrier, and was very sweet and kind. If you want delicious, non-pretentious, small, charming - this is a perfect spot.More

We ate there as a family of 4 and had some smoked salmon and some mozzarella cheese as starters, bouillabesse, cheeseburger and grilled fish as mains. Everything we got was okay, but not particularly outstanding. Therefore, we all agreed that the check was heavy compared...to what we ate. To sum up, this is a good restaurant with basic but tasty food, but you can absolutely find more “creative” places for the same price...More

We reserved a dinner here on our 2nd night in St. Rémy due to very positive reviews on TA and he fact that we could reserve online. We were probably there on the early side at 7:30 and had plenty of attention, but as the...restaurant filled up, it quickly became clear that the staff was overwhelmed. The restaurant was also neither veg friendly nor particularly accommodating to English-speakers. Overall the food was mostly very good, but one of us was served cold vegetables with their entree and we waited endlessly at the host stand for someone we could give a card to to pay. Hopefully the understaffing is a one time occurrence because we would have been much happier otherwise.More

Nice restaurant and the owner is lovely, it’s her and her husband who own it. The restaurant is in a quieter spot which is nice but you do feel the traffic close by - the terrace is quite shady and under a large tree. We...sat outside but I would be tempted to go inside next time (quite a lot of Sap/leaves on table etc, would recommend parchment or linen on tables). We chose the specials - alioli and bouillabaisse. Both nice but I would say the price is not competitive with other restaurants in the area. No water was offered and the service could have been more attentive - a second drinks order etc The set menu is not well discussed so it is assumed you will order a special or a la carte. The set menu also is very vague and lacks choice compared to others in the area. I would recommend it here as a place to fill one of your evenings. You could hear music from a neighbouring bar which was nice, the service was good and the food was nice and open on Monday/can book online. Would give 3.5 stars if that was an option.More

Really enjoyed our visit here. Non meat-eaters, the fish options we tried sea bream & bouillabaisse were really delicious. They can do a vegetarian plate on request which we didn’t try. Very friendly staff and nice smart/casual atmosphere in a convenient location. there’s parking in...the streets around.More
