This restaurant is adjacent to a bookstore but has dining rooms whose walls are lined with books like a library. The food is very good, the prices are reasonable, and the service is helpful and friendly. I ordered a cheese plate for dessert, and it came with a bunch of some kind of extremely tasty little red berries. I asked... More

The restaurant has a calm and sophisticated but unostentatious atmosphere. It is a welcome antidote to today's preference for brash clinical spaces. The food and service were excellent. The location is central but far enough removed from the main drag to be anything but touristy.

Our dinner here was a delight. The restaurant location on the pedestrian zone is convenient. It is in an older building with a great atmosphere of walls of books - a library room feel. There are a few private rooms that look great as well. Service and food were good. Pricing is typical of most in Marseille and they offer... More

Arsenaulx has lots of potentials. Good location, excellent interiors, ambiance, classical music, good food and wine but a very indifferent staff. We wanted to order a Coup de Champagne when we were given the menus. It took 20 minutes before someone came to the table to take the the aperitif order. We asked for a white wine to be served... A must try restaurant in Marseille! Service was good, and food was quite good! We had a big group of us and so i was able to see all kinds of dishes served from the restauant. Must try's are the local fish soup and the local wines....please avoid the steak as it's WAY overcooked for a medium rare!

A nice restaurant with lots of books all around. Starters and lamb were allright but apple pie was the best. I wish they served quicker

Had lunch There, the price for the place , the starter , the main course and part of the service are justified . They also got a good wine list well priced . They dealt with my allergy really well . The big Downside is the dessert . Far to match the quality of the precedent courses . Service is... More

Upon my arrival in Marseille in 2013 this was actually the first restaurant I eat at in this city, the food was great and the place itself is exceptional, you can feel the history all around. I had lunch there again last week and the experience was all the same. Will be back.

Exceptional place, very unique and artistic. The food was special. I am unable to understand why the poor reviews but each to their own reason. The restaurant isn't that expensive relative to the offering. I enjoyed a very good meal with very friendly service there.

Set 100 metres away from the bustling marina in the centre of town , this restaurant was originally I understand a library. Hence the interior decoration of shelves full of books. The welcome and service we received was excellent . Both professional and friendly. The best food were the classic french dishes. i.e. The excellent Bouillabaisse followed by the fish... More
