Numerous staff but they’re more interested in talking to one another than serving a drink. We came here when it was very quiet but had to repeatedly go to the bar to get any service. Could be so much better….
Mediocre food which would be passable considering the wonderful location but it’s the horrible service that is really annoying. The waitress finally comes to take an order, doesn’t write it down and then comes back 5 minutes later to ask what we wanted again. So...many times, we ordered another drink that never came. We wanted dessert, no one came near the table. Yet, 7 staff members hanging out by the bar just chatting with each other. We asked for the check and got it from the second person we asked. Then the waitress said she’d come back with the credit card machine. She never came back. We watched her hang out at the bar with other staff. Finally we got up to leave, walked past 5 members trying to catch anyone’s attention. Nothing. No one cares. We really almost walked out without paying and would have saved 125 euro but we couldn’t. We paid. It’s really a shame that it’s the only beach club option on villefranche.More
It is the only beach in Villefranche sur mer, that rents deckchairs, we tried to get them by phone, but it was impossible for 48 hours to make it, or they didn’t answer, or someone answer and hung up, or they left you waiting. Then we...use an application and made reservation for two days.We got 4 deck chairs in second row from the sea for Saturday, and the first row for Sunday. On first day we noticed that the composition of the employees on the beach was strange,a few suspicious people, the main ones with nickname Jo Jo,or Žo Žo,all tattooed, prefer to work in a boxing club than in a place like this. The service is catastrophic, you have to wait for everything, because you realize that the same people set up umbrellas, do lifeguard, work as waiters, or in a kitchen and restaurant during lunch. At the end of the first day, during the conversation with Jo Jo/Žo Žo, about our deckchairs for tomorrow, he asked us to pay the restaurant bills first. When he heard that we did not have lunch with them he suddenly explained that we don't have deckchairs in the first row tomorrow, quickly closed the notebook where it was wrote that deckchairs were reserved in our name for the Sunday in the first row to the sea, began to explain that the application bugged, that the application is not good, that we should have booked by phone. It was clear to all of us that this was a punishment for the fact that we had lunch at another restaurant.More
A friend recommended this place so maybe we had high expectations, but we left pretty disappointed with the day for the money we spent.
First of all, they lost our booking so had to re book on the day - luckily there was space!
We...booked 2 loungers and had no service at them from the time we arrived (11) until we left at 5. Even when we took a table at lunch we waited a long time to be served. After lunch and after waiting a while, we went back to our loungers and it was only at the end of the day a flustered waitress came up to us as she was trying to match an unpaid lunch bill to a tab - it was ours, but they had lost track of our booking again. It gave the impression of being completely disorganised. It was a shame as we could have spent a bit more money on drinks etc but we got bored waiting for service so didn’t bother. The group next door to us, who spent at least 100 euros on wine from the start, seemed to get service no problem...
Lunch did taste good and presented well, if a little cold, and the loungers were nice to have for the day. If you can get attention you can ask for more parasol shade.
I wonder if they were operating with a reduced number of staff at the moment which could have caused the organisation issues above, but it was a weekday and not that busy, especially at the start.More
We came here just for some chill and beach time. Got hungry and.... my compliments to chef. Amazing fresh fish, truffle paste, sushi pizza (sounds weird but very good). Highly recommend this place!! Wr was lucky to got the table, I would say book the...table <3More

We had good drinks and a lovely afternoon on the sunbeams at the clean beach, nice staff and not too expensive for the riviera! The service can be a little slow but it didn't spoil it. The burrata was tasty but huge so I would...say to share! The ice creams are also really good.More

After we waited 15 min to bring us the menu or someone to bother to ask us what we want to order, the waiter said us that is not possible to order only drinks, and he send us to another terrace to drink there.....!!!! How...this attitude can be possible??? How rude can they be with their clients?!? I DO NOT recommend!!!More

We want to apologize for this very bad situation.
In fact, at the lunch time, table are only for people who want to have lunch.
If you want to have a drink, there is a lounge part where you can sit.
We spent a day here, but even though it was pricey we were still glad we went for the sun chair and umbrella option as the heat was intense.
Beds and umbrella for two persons cost us 45 Euros for the day. Along with drinks...and a meal in the restaurant we spent around 130 euros total.
Food was nothing special, in my opinion, even though they tried to make it interesting.
Beach is sandy, not rocks, so it was pleasant to swim there, though a lot of people.
Be sure to be there early, or book in advance, as there is only a limited amount of sun beds in this closed off area.More

Thank you for your message.
The beach' prices are the same as other beach on the french riviera.
Spent a wonderful day at the beach, rented two sunbeds and had lunch. Excellent and clean facilities (showers & changing room). Staff were quick, friendly and unpretentious. Excellent food and worth price.
Sea much cleaner than Beaulieu-sur-Mer in the next bay - a few small...jelly fish but the life guard was constantly monitoring and removing them from the water.More
