Fantastic family run restaurant. On market days (tues and saturdays) it is also opened for lunch. Expect local cuisine, prepared over a wood fire, served to your foliage covered immaculate set table. Difficult to find, you will pass it if you do not know its...location. Really easy for families, you can order a normal menu selection and a smaller portion for reduced price will be prepared for children. For picky toddlers chips and steak de bœuf are also available. Tip: google maps points you to the wrong side of the roadMore
This restaurant changed hands about two years ago but retained its featured fire/grill for great fish/meat flame grilled meals. A very unique setting in an enclosed courtyard with two large low trees providing a canopy under which to eat. A lovely setting, not flash like...the harbour front but good foodMore
Small, more of a hidden spot. Very beautiful looking dining area. Food was amazing and understandably priced. Service was much quicker in comparison to other locations (touristy) near the water. Would come back!
The food was great and the setting under the trees was lovely, but what really made our experience special was the staff. Lorenzo and Salome were absolutely fantastic! They were attentive, knowledgable, friendly, and most of all we enjoyed simply meeting two individuals who seemed...like wonderful, kind, and fun people! You guys made our night so thanks very much to you! Hope our paths cross again!!More
I had lunch here today with my friend Hugo, food was delicious, atmosphere fabulous and the service fantastic. We shared the courgette flowers (perfection) ordered the plat du jour which was the tenderest chicken in a flavoursome red wine sauce then shared the Pavlova. I...want to go back tomorrow it was so great!More
We found this place via Tripadvisor on a chilly January evening and sat near the roaring fire that soon was transformed into a fabulous grill. The grill guy was a master of his art, using a kind of thick bamboo pipe to heat up his...embers and turn out succulent cuts of meat. The service was warm and non meat eaters like me were well catered for. In a somewhat overpriced tourist town, this is a place where the locals go. It was great fun.More
As far as I am concerned St. Tropez is somewhat over rated ( I like Antibes and Menton much better) and the highlight of our visit was this restaurant. Very picturesque , good food priced very reasonably .
we had a very nice evening. the location in the garden is beautiful and there is a very good atmosphere. kitchen makes an excellent job. we had a mixed salad as a starter which was very good. then we had the gambas barbecue they were...also very good and the gratin was just excellent maybe the best one i have ever had. i can not give 5 because the waiter was not very friendly. we had one or two questions about the menu and it seemed that these two questions were to much for him to answer. but all in one it was a very nice evening.More
We dined here and had a great meal. It was well priced and the portions are HUGE. We had the stuffed vegetables, zucchini beignet, onglet steak, duck, prawns and a tarte tatin and creme caramel. The stuffed peppers, duck, onglet and creme caramel were standouts....It has a nice atmosphere although it seemed staff were understaffed so service could be a bit slowMore
This is a nice spot, almost hidden behind the main square Des Lices and from the road you can only see a glimpse of the restaurant and its garden. The garden has an overhead almost canopy of tree branch coverage and hidden amongst the tree...trunks are several electric fans to add coolness to the inside/outside set up. Menus on chalk board in both French and English and multilingual staff. There is a traditional kitchen going on but also a large BBQ fireplace for flavouring cuts of meat. I chose lamb chops which actually came of a skewer so were not chops in the English sense but they were tasty and served with a ratatouille that was wonderful and creamy mustardy potato dauphinoise. Prawns on the bbq looked very good Prices are modest in this expensive town and I shall have to try again - next year perhaps!More
Love this little hidden spot! Always happy every time I come here for dinner. I love the foie gras and their bbq meats. Their house rosé is also quite inexpensive and pretty good. The owner always has a big hello and a smile.
We four came on a Tuesday night with no reservation and sat in the beautiful garden. The owner and servers were very friendly and attentive and the food was fine; my husband’s veal was the best. We were lucky that night as the owner’s friends...were at a nearby table and they gifted everyone with guitar, violin and singing, á la Gipsy Kings. Great spot, casual, good ambience.More
First visited 2 years ago when we stumbled across it during our day in St Tropez and we never forgot the service and atmosphere we experienced. Infact we couldn’t wait to return which we did in June and it was all what was still in...our memories, a join to return and once again experience the delights of eating in the garden. Well worth seeking out and enjoying lunch in the dappled light of St Tropez sun shine. Wonderful in every respect and we hope to return again one day.More
We had lunch on 2nd June 2018 in this most gorgeous restaurant. The food was superb and the cannelloni was Amazing
