The service was really great with a happy smiling waiter. We ordered 1 pizza and one Niçoise salad and the food was nice.

It took me half an hour to be served while I love coming to this place. A new waitress vulgar, rude, badly dressed better change jobs or go back to school! It's a shame because the rest of the team is very nice, but I'm more
Have I been to the same place as the rest of the reviewers. We went for a late lunch at 3pm and one soup ( bland ) and one salad nicoise ( which contained most of France's Celery crop) and two waters cost 35 euros? What? That's more expensive than the Negresco brassiere or the Hyatt. The decor was tired,... More
From the outside Sarao looks just like many of the other restaurants along the Promenade des Anglais - although with a look into the inside of the restaurant one can assume an upper class eatery... Great service, very nice ambiente, great dishes, very tasty, big portions and the prices, well, you are in Nice... - but it is still within... More
Great service, pizza was excellent as was the mushroom risotto. We sat outside and the view overlooking the Mer Mediterranee was fabulous at sundown.

Without doubt this was the best meal we had throughout the week we were here. The Lamb shank was excellent and the potatoes and vegetables had a wonderful taste... More
Of all the choices on the promenade and all pricey for what you get, Sarao was a solid choice. I wouldn't make it a restaurant destination but if you are on the Promenade and need to make a choice, you should be happy here. The food was of good quality and offered generous amounts. The server was attentive and friendly,... More
Good Service, lovely food (we had seafood pizza & Salmon Salad) beautifully presented. Expensive for lunch.€60+
This restaurant is bang on the promenade beside the poshest of hotels. It should be wildly expensive, then? It isn't. The food is fine, and the prices average for Nice. Service is Provence-speed......every meal seems to take forever. It was quite quiet this September lunchtime. The Plat du Jour, however, was a bargain. Three courses, the main being a big... More
