This little gem was in an alley way just around the corner from our accommodations in Antibes and they specialized in paella which was made fresh to order. The restaurant will prepare the paella for 2, 4, 6 or 8 people and if you call ahead and let them know what you want it can be customized to a certain... More

Nothing worked. 1. The tablecloth was dirty when we came, the waitress didn't bother to take it away, instead she just put a clean one on top. 2. We ordered a bottle of Rosé, we only got it in the middle of the main course and only after complaining. 3. The wine was terrible and not even chilled. Warm rosé,... More

As travellers we often find ourselves eating at late hours. I was initially happy to see the late opening hours and we arrived 45minutes before closing time. Unfortunately were received with a lot of attitude saying they won't serve us and that we should reserve in advance if we want to eat late. Sorry I come from a country where... More

We called ahead to discuss our order for paella and Amando kindly assisted us on the detail of the ingredients and the level of spiciness which we preferred. Preparation time was around 40 minutes, giving us plenty of time to walk from our apartment and enjoy a relaxing carafe of the local rosé while the meal was being prepared. The... More

I've been traveling to Spain since I was 3, 47 years ago, almost every year. This food was the poorest example of Spanish cuisine I've ever experienced and our worst meal in Antibes by far. The tapas sharing plate had slices of sausage chopped up and two slices of Serrano, a tiny amount of cheese. Anyone could do better! The... More

A great genuine spanish restaurant in a small beautyful alley. The hosts are very friendly - also to the kidds! A 'must' dish was CALDERETA ASTURIANA - this was just too good.

This was a very pleasant restaurant with good quality Spanish food in a little lane on the edge of old town Antibes. The people were extremely friendly and we chose the restaurant because it looked significantly better than many of the other restaurants in old town. We were pleased with the selection. The cost was modest.

We came here for lunch after avoiding all the 'tourist traps' that Antibes has to offer for hungry visitors. We were served by the owner Amando and had a great lunch (fresh calamari) and a jug of sangria. We were seated outside where it was hot but shady under the umbrella, food was fantastic and we had a great conversation... More
