If you are a friend of fish and fresh vegetables Don Juan is the place to go. Located in a former bakery they offer excellent cooking. They convince by the freshness of their products. No sophistication, but delicious.

It's a cosy restaurant specialising in fish dishes. On the day of our dinner they had turbot and John Dory. We chose John Dory (58 Euros for 2). It was very fresh but very plain (no sauce or if it were grilled it would have more taste to it). The mashed potato was very good. The fried calamari with garlic... More

We went to the bistro without reservation and luckily got the table just before it got crowded. The food was delicious and the portions were big! We took the menus of the day and the beef was really nice and tender. Pork, that was originally on the list was changed to duck, and it was superb. The chocolate mousse was... More

Now this review is for the bistro don juan, which is across the street from the actual restaurant don juan. It has the same owner though. The bistro looks nice and trendy. And thats where the music stops, so to speak. The service was nonexistent, and the food was anything but tasty. My steak came from the restaurant across the... More

Went there last night for a dinner with my husband having made a reservation via a booking website to find that the restaurant was closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays despite the fact the booking website had confirmed the reservation. Very annoying. Will not bother returning.

We decided to use the restaurant rather than the twinned bistro opposite. The outdoor table was well furnished and the potted olive tree was magnificent. So was the food. Brilliant starter, excellent steaks, no room for a 3rd course!!!!

You cannot miss this reataurant in rue Thuret directly going towards the port. On two corners on a pedestrian road you see lot of wooden crates with an impressive vegetables array. Among them white eggplants, huge yellow heart tomatoes and lot of strange colorful vegetables on display. On one corner the Don Juan restaurant, a posh venue. On the opposite... More

We haven't been to Antibes for a couple of years and stumbled across this restaurant as we walked from the port through the streets of the old town and were attracted by the decor and look. We had two very good starters and then the turbot for two which was one of the best we have had as it was... More

We just made stop for one night in Antibes and found this cosy place. Don Juan restaurant attracted with pleasant aroma of see food and we understood that this is right place. When we came in one average guy helped to find table for two. After 5 min we sat in the middle of this small fisherman port pearl. Atmosphere... More

We had such high hopes for this restaurant recommended to us by our hotel on our first night in Antibes, as we were interested in some fresh seafood. It was not so much that the food was terrible - it was ok. The entree of garlic calamari was over salted and hardly any traces of garlic, and the oven baked... More
