It was late and we just went straight in a were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The menu was reduced but we had a great meal and the service was very good. The prices were quite reasonable, I recommend it

Had the pleasure of eating lunch here are was delighted with the menu, its presentation, taste and value. At $15 Euros, you probably won't find a better lunch choice anywhere in CDP. Service is efficient and friendly. What a great find! Very Highly Recommended!

We stopped in this restaurant on a very windy, cold day. The place was cosy and the staff equally warm. We had a delicious starter of foie gras followed by steak with gnocchi and mushrooms. It was perfectly done and delicious. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone as the price quality is exceptional!

Very popular restaurant in the heart of CdP. Typical French Provençal menu was well presented and tasty. Beef came out a bit on the rare side - even when ordered "medium" but fries were delicious as was salad. Do try their special dessert which is a cute sampling of four popular desserts and cafe. Reasonable wine list, cool menus made... More

I went here my first night in Chateauneuf de pape. The fixed menu (30 EUR) was great! Limited vine selection but OK. Next day I tried their specials and the Cote de Rhone. Very good! The service is excellent and I am so happy that this was the restaurant that was open during my stay! Recommendations: if you do the... More

We just missed the menu of the day but settled for the €25 menu. We had the ravioli to start followed by the beef. Unfortunately I don't know the French for medium rare so it tends to be cooked medium this time the beef was cooked to perfection. The lovely waitress seemed a little frazzled but it might have been... More

If you only do one thing in Chateaunerf-du-Pape, apart from climbing the hill for the great view, eat at this restaurant. We had lunch there two days ago and it was not only superb but outstanding value. The service? Very friendly and fast.

We had lunch in la Maisouneta on a Monday whilst many other lunch places are closed on Mondays. The restaurant looks a bit old, nothing fancy, the terrace is quite small in the back and doesn't have a view. The waiter was a friendly guy. The food was good and must say very cheap. A set 3 course lunch for... More

We had a great lunch at La Maisouneta. We were lucky enough to sit on the patio at the back of the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. A perfect spot for a long lazy lunch. (Not long because the service was slow I might add, but out of choice). I would definitely recommend this... More
