Another jewel of a find in Provence. We were lucky to find this lovely creperie late one night after we missed our 9:30 seating at a pricier, fancy restaurant, where the chef decided to close the kitchen at 9:45 (we got there at 9:45). We wondered the streets looking for somewhere to eat and were turned away at no less... More

We stopped here right after visiting the palais du pape as it was close to the exit. It was crowded and was covered. Lots of salads which were ok. Nothing special and had we looked harder and wondered further would have found more choices and paid less. Not a bad place but not great. Get crepes elsewhere as they are... More

Great little restaurant off the Main Street amongst the winding cobbled stone streets in a court yard surrounded by the old buildings under leafy trees giving you the quiet peaceful atmosphere that is wonderful in an outdoor restaurant The service was good, always slow and relax as it is through France the food was great the menu was extensive and... Pleasant setting in tree-shaded square with friendly staff who indulged our attempts to speak French and spoke English when we got stuck. Food was inexpensive and tasteless. "Grilled" steak had been pan-fried at a low temperature so was limp and watery. Potatoes au gratin needed more salt, some garlic and tastier cheese. Salmon steaks were small and dry without sauce.... The menu is quite limited but we enjoyed our chicken skewers and chicken breast not massive portions but perfectly good for the price. The crepes for dessert were excellent. The carafe of red wine was also very nice and we enjoyed sitting in the shady square. Good service but beware they do not take credit or debit cards, but the... More

After wandering through the Popes Palace for many hours we meandered to this creperie saladerie located close by on a tiny plaza nestled among apartments and a church. There are actually four of five small restaurants on this charming plaza giving it enough life to make it populated but nothing like the touristy main plaza to the south. This is... More

with very kind English speaking service and shaded tables just behind St Pierre Church (which is a lovely and calming stop), le Cloitre is a perfect place to stop for a meal. I was ready for lunch at 3PM and La Creperie which is right in front of the church was closed but the sweet waitress at le Cloitre was... More

Stopped here when the 5 star hotel round the corner strangely couldn't produce all day food! Great gallettes, crepes and salad at a reasonable price sitting outside in a pleasant courtyard. 53 euros for 3 with plenty of food. Cheap and cheerful. No complaints!

Among all the other restaurants in Avignon, we found this the best in terms of service, variety and quality of food available and especially the willingness of the staff to understand our requirements and customise the dishes accordingly. There are a variety of crepes and steaks and they serve you an entire carafe of Luberon rose for the price of... More

Popped in here for a quick lunch during a flying visit to Avignon. The waiter was very nice and although we spoke a little French he spoke a little English so we got by. The galettes were very good and good value at 8 Euros for a steak galette. Galettes came with a salad and the usual bread and water... More
