Le Criquet was recommended by the hotel reception. When we arrived one of the ladies told us that the inside of the restaurant was fully booked, but the terrace was available, terrace turned out to be an alley way between the restaurant and another building. The starter was OK, main dish half cooked cabillaud and the desert something with merengue... More

Located close to the roman theatre and the amphitheatre. We loved the lamb shank served at lunch. Wee cooked and perfectly presented. Decent prices.

We showed up late without a reservation. Our luck, one table was just leaving. Had the Bourride a delicate creamy fish soup. Big enough to share. Plus octopus salad. Lemon meringue tart. All excellent! Great service from owner's daughters. Menu great. A great find in this little town!

Went on hotel recommendation. Food was average with fatty lamb and cheesecake was nothing special. Would not recommend.

The subject says it all. The food is good local produce cooked really well with excellent friendly service. We had 3 courses each and were not disappointed with any of them...although the lamb is a standout. This place is an absolute must when in Arles.

We had the "formule midi" consisting of 'bar'(fish) whith vegetables (turnips, fennel, carrots) and potato mousseline with pistaccio, followed by an excelent creme brulée pralinée. Much to be recommended!

The place is small so you need to reserve early. The experience is worth a trip to Arles, friendly staff but no to much, limited choice but quality is there.

Glad we booked, over the phone, in English, which was great. Restaurant was full and they turned many walk in's away . Food was excellent as we had hoped for.A small menu, but 'proper' food. Definitely recommended.

It is a family restaurant . They have only 10 15 options but every option is perfect. Wine selection is made by the two sisters and is good also.

We revisited Le Criquet, having "discovered" it a couple of years ago and talked about it ever since. Quite simply, this is one of the best restaurants that we have visited, not only in France, but anywhere. It is a very charming place, with a comfortable and welcoming ambiance. The food is superb and the service is efficient and friendly.... More
