Mo's is one of very few restaurants along this Nova Scotia coastline. It serves good food and has good service. The gal who served us volunteered to help us find places in the area.

Stopped here for a late lunch yesterday. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the woodfired meat pizza. Both items were great. My fish was cooked all the way through and had a nice light batter on it. Not greasy at all like some places. Pizza was equally as good. Fresh with plenty of toppings a d... More

We enjoyed lunch here over the weekend. I had the fish and chips and my spouse had the hamburger. The burger was freshly made, not one of those frozen hockey pucks. The fish itself was tasty and well cooked with a nice batter, not greasy. The fries were unfortunately the frozen processed type reminiscent of MacDonald's. The seafood prices are... More

My Mom and I wanted to do a little day trip and made Mo's our destination (approximately 1 1/2 hours drive. Short story~~~she had the "haddock bites" and I had piece of haddock. She could not eat hers at all because there was so much batter and it was not cooked all the way through and the fish was coated... More

Mo's was average but certainly not something to rave about. The fish was good, pizza wasn't anything special. The crust tasted frozen and the I'm not 100% sure that the whole clams were clams... They were tasty but mostly tasted like clam flavoured breading. The waitress was friendly and the service was good. Three of the four meals came out... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch, the meal hit the spot. Very hearty chowder and delighted to find "That Dutchman Cheese" items on the menu, always delicious. Fun, casual atmosphere and very friendly staff.

We heard so many great things about Mo's...so went for my Birthday supper...I ordered the pan fried flounder and my hubbie ordered the pizza...the pizza came fairly quick but was just adequate...20 minutes later I got my flounder...it was horrible and we both racked our brains trying to figure out why...we determined it was fried in margarine...yuck!!! Who does that???... More

Although the wait staff are friendly, the cooks at this restaurant are simply amateur! We ordered 4 meals, two arrived and were eaten before the next two were out of the kitchen, if you can call the small cooking area a kitchen. The cooks have absolutely no professional experience. The sald dressings are bottled, the fried food is terribly greasy,... More
