Great location near church so made booking. Unfortunately, we were put in the back room with stuffy air and no view. The food was generally ok, though two of us had the lamb for a main that was just plain bad. Chewy, fatty, and over-cooked. Probably the worst main we had in our trip to France. Would not go back... We had only just arrived in Bayeux and wanted to eat so we called in on the chance that there was a table. There was. Staff were friendly if a little unsure what wheat free meant. However it was all ok so great. The food on the €25 menu provided excellent value for money. It was well cooked and attractively... More

We arrived in Bayeux for a full day tour of the D-Day landing areas. While walking through the town, we happened upon this pretty restaurant. Every element of our meal was superb. We had what was recommended and we were very pleased. Even our cheese plate was uniquely delicious.

We visited the restaurant on the hottest day of the year so far ... The car told me 42 degrees c. So we booked this restaurant situated opposite the cathedral. A cool gazpacho was delivered to the table compliments of the chef. Super! We had starters of foie grasse and salmon in lime - both lovely. We both enjoyed the... More

By chance we found this restaurant after seeing the Bayeux Tapestry. What a find! Good food. The lunch including wine and coffee was excellent value. Beautifully and simply presented. Nicely paced. Friendly service.

A great little restaurant near the cathedral, the menu is simple and each dish is tempting, the wine choice is also simple and well chosen. Although small we were not at all bothered by the other clients, the service throughout was efficient and enjoyable. Good value for money, the best restaurant we have been to for a while.

They made my husband a special vegetarian plate and he rated it "5-Star." Our meals were excellent, and the service was very professional. They only do one seating per night, so make reservations early!

For our second evening in town, I checked out most of the restaurants and decided on Le P'Tit Resto. It was a wonderful choice. We tried both of their menus, and each had interesting and creative touches with the freshest of ingredients. The service was wonderful with excellent wine choices. The panda cotta was to die for!

A refined and somewhat formal restaurant. However, the fare offered was delicious and appropriately priced. We would return on a regular basis if located in Hampshire! Recommended.

Recommended by our hotel. Lovely site, well decorated and modern. Food was very good- interesting tandoori chicken/risotto entree, fish for Main course was delicious and lamb rack was good but could have had a sauce or more seasoning. Dessert of panna cotte with passion fruit was light and tasty. The negatives were that the wine we ordered was not the... More
