Really good food and a wonderful apple tart if offered that night. Highly recommended. Don't go if you expect a "30 minutes and done" dinner. Dining experience and food quality at very fair prices is why you want to be there. Highly recommended.

We had a delightful dinner with a good choice of wines. As might be expected, the menu features regional specialties which were well prepared. Friendly staff.

We enjoyed local cheeses, slow-cooked veal, tasty duck and seasonal vegetables at a quiet table in this lovely restaurant. Not sure what the spreadable amuse bouche was, but it was delicious!

We chose to have lunch at Le Pommier as it is often busy in the evening and a bit rushed, The food was very good, the menu varied and the service excellent.

We ate here on Rick Steves' recommendation. Service and food very good. The plates were artfully presented. Thierry was an affable host.

The three-course tasting menu for dinner here was an excellent choice. My father got mussels as an appetizer and my husband and I got a salad with the local cheese. For the mains, they ordered the sea bass and I got the lamb. For dessert, we had an apple tart, chocolate cake, and profiteroles. Each and every course was incredibly... More

Delightful ambiance. The food was unexpectsntly superb. Could compete wih the best of Paris. Friendly service. Gourmet and also simpler fare. For qdults and older well behaved children due to intimate surroundings. Easy walkin the center of town.

This beautiful restaurant steps from the cathedral is a real find. The food was outstanding; fresh seafoods, game (duck), produce and cheeses populated the menu as well as many nice wines. It's quite the romantic spot (it's a bit formal) full of locals and while we felt a bit out of place with our group of 9 including 4 kids... More

Le Pommier is a good French style restaurant. I had the Moule as a starter and did not regret it. Good and personal service.

Description
The owners Isabelle and Thierry Lhuillery are strongly attached to the region, which displays lot's of famous specialities. Their cooking is both original and typical.
The owners know pretty well the local producers, with whom they have been working for many years. When the ingredients are cooked, it is always in the respect of their original flavour, only spices and fresh herbs are added in order to make the best come out of them.
Enjoy eating fresh sea food straight from the coast; try our daily raw marinated fish course, or a slice of duck foie gras flavoured with apple fragrances.
Don't miss our Normandy beef and duck breast, or our delicate fish dressed with a light cream dressing.
Do not also go by, without tasting our local cheeses such as : Camembert, Pont L’Eveque, Livarot or Neufchatel.
And finally to put a pleasant end to this perfect meal try a chaudfroid apple dessert...
It will be our pleasure to help you choosing in our wine and cider list the most appropriate beverage.
