We went here to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff were just great! Easy going, willing to help and explain each course. We decided to take the surprise menu and we did not regret it. There were dishes we would not normally choose, but everything was just perfect. In total we had about 7 different courses from start to finish.... More

One feels as if at home, all staff including chef very friendly, professional and present. We were in a large group, but a special table was prepared fpr us in such a way that we could be in private conversation. Excellent food, well prepared, top disges, fine wine list and professional sommelier. Top!

Really nice, as we can expect from such restaurants, but not falling into the "over-sophisticated". Authenticity of "South-west of France" remaining.

This represents a complete meal experience with discrete but very professional service. The quality of ingredients and preparation is exceptional however I did find it all overpowering and could have done with less and lighter on the lower priced fixed menu we chose. Personally my favourite restaurant in Toulouse remains P-Yr for its modernity and lightness of touch without losing... More

Wishing to have some exceptional good food is always one of my travelling goals, therefore I selected the Michel Sarran as my highlight in the trip to Toulouse. Michel Sarran is a small restaurant hidden in between resident, with simple and comfortable setting. Both my friend and I ordered the set lunch which included a glass of red and white.... More

We have been to multiple Michelin starred restaurants, including some with three stars, but none has surpassed Michel Sarran. Everything from the ease of booking the table to parking to the room, food and service is perfection. It is elegant without being stuffy and a very good value.

We read great reviews on Trip Advisor. We were looking forward to excellent dining. We were pleased by the decor and ambiance. An added bonus was that the waiter spoke English. The wine selections were good. Many dishes were brought out before the main course. The presentation of each was elegant. The waiter explained what each was, many were a... More

We did not know about the restaurant until we were on holiday in Toulouse and checked the restaurants in the area on Tripadvisor. We were really fortunate to be able to book a table for dinner at relatively short notice. I can say that It was one of the most pleasant culinary experiences we've had for a long time. The... More

To celebrate the "special birthday" of one of our wine group while we were staying in Toulouse for one night we decided to book a table at Michel Sarran. Our group of four couples chose the 'dégustation surprise' with accompanying wines. This proved to be both a visual treat and a real experience of different flavours and represented excellent value.... More

Had lunch there today with my wife. Had the Menu Capitole. €55 per person, including wine and coffee. It must be one of the best values in Europe! The menu is online to view. We had complimentary snacks and a beautiful amuse-bouche, the three course menu, coffee and petit fours and extremely generous wine pouring. I loved every single morsel.... More

Description
Michel Sarran restaurant in Toulouses charming old town is a townhouse eaterie that boasts a pair of Michelin stars, understated warmth and style, and the most famous gastronomic name in the city. Michels wife Francoise greets you and shows you to the bubbling, modern ground floor dining room, the leafy terrace, or one of the more subdued, romantic first floor dining rooms. Sarran has made his name with ambitious, subtle gastronomy focussing on the best regional, seasonal ingredients: warm foie gras soup with Belon oysters, wild salmon cooked and cru with green curry emulsion and soba noodles and shellfish, chicken and egg with Aquitaine caviar. The lunchtime Saveurs menu is a steal. Wines and service are superb and the amuse-bouche delightful.
