A typical pizza place, good service and OK pizza. The stone vault in the second dining room has a better mood than the front.

A quaint restaurant with EXCELLENT pizzas and a lovely atmosphere. The service was terrible - not the fault of the serves. The servers were all friendly and accommodating however there were only three for a full restaurant. Waited over an hour for salads and noticed our pizzas sitting off to the side - had to ask for them to be... More

Last month on the 6th of October in Montpellier / South France, I caught up for dinner with few old friends and we decided to re-visit one of the restaurants we used to go to when we were at Uni; La Pizzeria du Palais. Unsurprisingly, we found that little has really changed since we last ate there over 20 years... More

My partner had the best lasagne ever and a demi of red which she loved, I had a pizza with a burnt crust and a less than impressive demi of white. Can't win em all. If the pizza is burnt send it back. The service was good.

Disappointing. Service was slow, one of our pizzas was burnt, so we returned it. Pizza crust was too thick and tough to cut/ eat. Taste was ok but nothing special. Not recommended. Wine of the month was substandard.

This was our first visit to Montpellier and as we were wandering through the side streets, we came across the Pizza du Palais and decided to have lunch there mainly because it was somewhat removed from the main streets and had a nice appearance. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was nicely decorated but by means elaborate, in keeping with... More

The food here was very disappointing, the pizza was tasteless, floppy and laden with salt. The pasta dishes are pretty poor, the tomatoe sauce was sugary and tasted as though it came from a Dolmio jar. The chocolate cake had just come out of the freezer as it still had frozen particles on the top and was a nasty floppy... More

Dropped in as a single diner. Got moved to a small table. 20 mins + before order got taken. Waiter became obsequious to make up for failings. Food was ok - €26, for pizza, demi-litre of house rose, and dessert.

This is a lovely Resturant in the heart of Montpelliers old town with friendly, efficient service and delicious pizzas. It is a nice place to eat - inside or out. They have a full menu with lots of delicious choices and other options such as pasta dishes. The staff looked after us very well and were brilliant at dealing with... More
