This restaurant is situated in the old town of Carcassonne. As entree we had goose livet which was delicious. The main course was Saint Jaques, which was OK as was the dessert based on lemon and cream. But the service was a disaster. We had to...More

Intimate with not many seats, food quality and choice were excellent, and service very efficient and pleasant. Would definitely visit again when next in Carcassonne.

Just what we needed after an afternoon sightseeing. Very comfortable and attentive service. Can't remember what we ate but I know it was good. Not a tourist rip-off. Would definitely go again

A lovely interior, about as far as you can get from the mob in Carcassonne. Food was well served and presented, although the cassoulet I had was not in any way exceptional. Really needed more than the two servers to keep up with full house.

La Marquierre was recommended to us by our B & B host, and it was remarkable. We enjoyed a fall evening on their patio, but the inside looks lovely too. Marvelous duck confit and cassoulet as main courses. Best Irish Coffee for dessert!
