Menu at reasonable price --- served earlier - so one does not have to wait hungry till 7 ot 8 PM. And it is cheaper before 7 PM :-) Good food

We have eaten here every time we have visited Carcassonne for the last 10 years and been happy with the service and food, until now. The staff were rude and arrogant and thought we could not understand what they were saying. When the waiter was bringing the drinks, he held them over me and soaked my clothes, no apology, then... We ate here on our first night, had fast friendly service with very tasty food, all at a reasonable fair price. It was full inside and was too chilly for anyone to want to sit outside. We also went here for a drink and dessert after a poor experience at another restaurant, and again had fabulous fast service. On our... More

We did not eat here but had a drink here everyday of our stay. The building is old and atmospheric. Staff were friendly & service prompt.

They refused to sit us claiming there were a lot of people waiting before us... funny because they were nowhere to be found and several tables were empty

Went to this restaurant for lunch today and told the waiter when ordering that my friend and I want to share a cassoulet as we wanted to try it but neither of us would be able to eat a whole cassoulet for lunch. He took our order and said nothing about not being able to share food. When the food... More

We stopped here for an afternoon beer after waiting without being served at a neighbouring Cafe. We were served immediately by a friendly waitor and later ordered the ham, cheese and pate plate. I didnt give this place five stars because we didn't have a meal there but wouldn't hesitate to. The service was great and the atmosphere in the... More

One of the waiters must be the rudest miserable man I have ever come across in the service industry. The bar is nice and homely, but this guy makes you want to get up and leave - that's what we did after only one drink.

We stopped here for an afternoon coffee and cake. The staff did not show much interest in us, but we waited anyway. After some minutes, we got a table. The waiter did made an effort and spoke English. He brought the coffees, but the cakes never arrived. They were in the bill, though. The bill was corrected, but I doubt... More

We were afraid this would be a tourist trap, being on one of the main squares of the old city. Far from it. The Cassoulet and wild boar stew were excellent. Waiters speak many languages to really make you feel welcomed, I have the impression there is almost continuous service. Very good meal.
