We didn't want to leave our trip without experiencing authentic crepes. We arrived as soon as it opened and we were able to get a table (we did not have reservations but would highly recommend it since the place was completely packed within 15 minutes of opening). The menu had a lot of variety and the service was quick. We... More

Even though we had to wait for a while to get the table, it was definitely worth it. Sweet or/and savory - you can't go wrong! Provence Galette was my favorite!

The Cafe is situated in a really nice area not far from Picasso Museum and was child friendly as we were there with our grandson. We did not have to make a reservation as we were eating relatively early but that said the cafe was still busy. The menu was great and there was a crepe to suit each of... More

I wanted to eat at Cafe Breitz the last time I was Paris, but I could not get in without a reservation. I made a point of reserving in advance of my trip in November. My expectations were very high as the cafe is famous for their galettes and crepes. I've never had cider before and decided to try a... More

Have been coming here for years. Never disappoints. Has gotten very popular, so reservations are necessary. All savory crepes are gluten free, can't beat the "Complète" crepe!

Great crepes! I had savory and sweet crepes. They were both delicious. They speak English, they were friendly, and the food came out extremely fast.

We went here for lunch on New Year's Day. We were seated at the large table in the adjacent restaurant. All of our galettes were dlish. The special was one with leaks and scallops. For dessert we shared a number of crepes. My favorite was the one filled with Apple and with a sauce of salted caramel. Service is good... More

Absolutely love galettes so had to come here for lunch. The cafe was very busy but I was dining alone and didn't have to wait long. Had a simple, smoked salmon galette, which was light and delicious, together with a couple of boules of Breton cidre - which set me up for an afternoon browsing the Marais.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
