Yes, I know service in Paris is not known for being the best in the world, but this place was so disturbingly bad, made me feel like crap. In all fairness, once I complained about the server I got (his name is Amid, if you get him---RUN), things improved. I order the onion soup. It took more than ten minutes.... More

Rude incompetent staff (tip: you cannot grunt "Have you ordered" until you provide a menu). Service very slow and poor (tip: even though the bacon was cold you should provide a knife not a desert spoon to try to eat it with!) When questioned why the fixed menu items of bread and jam did not arrive, again a grunted response... More

This is a Marais hotspot. They offer good food simple food. A big advantage is that you can eat here all day, Since they do not close after lunch. Definitely a place where you can eat during your shopping hours :)

Please avoid this restaurant! As a local, this place is well known for such bad service and "RUDE" serveur! The food is so so, but the only good point is their location which is located right at the center of the Marais (gay area)! I have been living in paris for years, and this time is my second times that... More

The service was terrible. After a 45 minute wait, the waiter finally tells us they lost our order, which meant we had to wait another 45 minutes for them to bring us our food. All this waiting and yet they don't bring us our drinks, they don't even have the decency to bring us water. Once the food arrives, it's... More

We did not eat anything, but enjoyed a few drinks on the patio. Great service, very accommodating to work with us as we speak broken French, good selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. I have become particularly fond of the Martini Blanc cocktail thanks to this place!

Very welcoming and excellent service from the moment you enter til leaving. the food was good, what you would expect from a French bistro and accommodating to alter menu options. Highly recommend this bistro.

This place seems very Nice at first with welcoming staff and lively atmosfear. But when you come inside it smells bad, and the food is not Nice. I asked for well done burger but it was red inside. My friend ordered duck breast but the filet only got fat on it, not good quality for someone who wants a good... More

Thanks Pernille P about your nice view about us restaurant! To start we were sorry about the mistake on the duck breast. You explain on your comment that you know duck food. Are you sure? Duck breast in France is always cooked with fat thereby because it give the flavor to the duck meat. I don't know in Norway how... More

Situated in the heart of the Marais district, this place serves good food and is a good place for drinks in the evening. Good atmosphere both daytime and evening.

Awesome lunch at Les Marronniers last week. Came with my bestfriend and we had a great time. Our goat salad was very good and juices too. The chocolate fondant was ok. But overall great experience and AWESOME service which is rare in Paris.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
