I have been here twice now, and I love the rose macaron. I do feel these insanely expensive macarons aren't THAT much better than what you can get elsewhere in France. (For cheaper) The employees are a bit pretentious as well. I'd try it once,...More

Yesterday i was at Laduree and thought i was in heaven. Until i came to Pierre Herme! It’s like night and day. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. If i lived in Paris i would be here every week. The Italian style is macrons...More

Currently sitting on the Eurostar on the way back from Paris armed with my beautifully wrapped macarones to combat the holiday blues 🐽 My boyfriend and I were a little merry on our way to the shop as we'd had a long day queuing for...More

The patisserie is well known and for a reason. The desert we took was excellent! However, the macrons were the most expensive we paid for in Paris. They offer very special tastes, sometimes its mixed between two - perhaps too sophisticated, as it was nothing...More

Beautiful macarons with a variety of flavor options. We tried a bunch and there all pretty good. I have to admit (surprisingly!) that I was a bigger fan of Laduree whose macarons were a bit more flavorful and crispy.

Pierre Hermè is simply the best macarons in Paris. A missed trip here is an incomplete trip to Paris. The flavors are unique, strong, and fresh. I had the pistachio-raspberry combine. Simply divine!

I love it! They come up with different flavors quarterly so was not able to try the vanilla olive oil macaroon. But everything we tried was good.

In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic
and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is
dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops,
ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants.
Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine
art school and small museums hide in unassuming
squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the
oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented

As was said, it is a chocolate and pastry shop, not a restaurant. The pastries are "works of art." They are not inexpensive, but as the saying goes - you get what you pay for. I would suggest going there just to look at... More
