In fairness we only stopped in for a drink but I paid €8 for a coke in hindsight I should have just drank beer! Lovely atmosphere and kind staff though

A historical restaurant just behind the Louvre on rue St. Honoré. In olden days King's advisers used to come and eat there --- now you can do the same... It looks simple but we had a good service. All dishes are fresh, nice choice and...More

My wife and I stopped in for lunch after our Louvre visit. We each had salmon and risotto. The salmon was overcooked and the risotto had too much cream in it, which made it inedible. When we asked for butter for our bread the server...More

First of all, I will point out that Paris has to be the most expensive city we have visited. Lunch for four will come in at well over €120 and not a lot to show for it. We had visited the louvre and didn't want...More

My husband and I stopped for lunch after spending the morning at the Louvre. I had the croque monsieur with salad, and he had an omelette with salad. Both were very good. There is plentiful seating inside and outside.

The service we received was excellent, the food and the wines were good, maybe a bit overpriced but seeing the location, 5 minutes walk from Musee du Louvre, I think it you can't do any better price / performance wise in this area.

Nothing to say but stay away, Rude, rushing orders made mistakes on order and waitress said too bad and ignored us. Brought us food we didn't order and would not take it off the order. Stay away.

Le Ragueneau restaurant in Paris two steps from the Louvre and the Palais Royale is one of the literatures most historic eateries. This is the location of the restaurant of Cyprien Ragueneau, 17th century chef, poet and great friend of Moliere and others, after whom Rostand named Cyrano de Bergeracs friend. The new incarnation is a chic, extremely French brasserie in warm tones of red and ochre with brass chandeliers, absolutely stuffed with Ragueneau-related art. Vincent Sitz, formerly of Taillevent, offers snacks and teas on the ground floor, more complete meals in the elegant first floor dining room, a modern menu inspired by Ragueneaus dishes, braised lamb en cocotte, salads, entrecotes, and especially tarts. The wine list is devoted exclusively to wines from Bergerac.
