We came here twice while in Paris because the food was so amazing. The service was excellent as well. I can't wait to come back next time we are in Paris because it was so good.

I ate in this cozy restaurant on my first weekend in Paris after a long hiatus of 5 years. The meal at Le Petite Pointoise was the perfect way to reacquaint oneself with the city. I had the duck parmentier - duck served atop a bed of mashed potatoes (with some foie grois thrown in for good measure), along with... More

An overly crowded, tourist magnet, apparently recommended by hotels nearby. Very crowded with tables too close together to be comfortable. At best, the food is average, not as good as it sounds on the menu or in TripAdvisor . You can do a lot better by walking up St. Germain a few blocks and checking the myriad choices on the... More

Wonderful restaurant in the Saint Germain area. We had a delicious meal in a very cozy environment. The service was so friendly and welcoming. This was one of our favorites the whole trip. Try the baked brie for an appetizer. It's a winner. Can't want to go back.

Great to find in St. Germain a french restaurant where french people go to. Very small restaurant, nicely decorated with a young and smiling staff. Excellent food. It is pricy as it is not the usual "touristic menu" offered more less everywhere. The food is very good. Done at the moment and everything feels very fresh. The chocolate desert was... More

There seems to be an overload of these sort of restaurants, that "French Bistro" style, jam packed in, not an inch to move. So packed that everytime wait staff (or diners) walked past me I got knocked (and I'm small!), very tedious and annoying. We came here based on TA reviews however found the food was pretty lacklustre. We ordered... More

Typical cramped French bistro, with tables very close to each other but that does give the place a certain charm. Very good service, fast and polite. You can order a bottle of wine and only pay for what you have drunk which is a great idea and very helpful! Food was of average taste and prices were slightly inflated. 2... More

The Good: - Fantastic starters. We sampled four and all four were very very well done. - Central location. Very easy to get to and find, quiet neighborhood. - Quality produce. - Best Magret de Canard I've had so far in Paris. - Easy reservation online. - Desserts are made in-house and are pretty good and generous. - Some very... Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas.
