We came here for our first evening meal in Paris as we were stopping close by. We had fois grais to start followed by the steaks, service was quick and the menu whilst not massive had enough variety. The waiter was slightly rude when he...More

On most of my trips to Paris I have eaten at Le Grand Cafe. From the decor, to the food, and the wine, it's a great place to dine. Seafood, made to order with a French flair, along with classic French pastries will likely make...More

This cafe was excellent with a great street position, comprehensive menu and good service. Prices were a little high but well worth it. Highly recommend

When one goes to Paris, there are a few things to be expected. For me, French desserts is a key feature. This restaurant, steps from the Paris Opera, is everything you expect. The decor was opulent and the service by the staff was attentive. I...More

Nothing to reproach - excellent service, classical french food, traditional ambiance. Great place for business lunch! Why not excellent? - nothing exceptional.

The service and staff was very helpful and accommodating, especially considering the size of our group (7 people) and that we had a toddler with us. We were sat upstairs - the decor of the restaurant is apparently original and in a hybrid art nouveau...More

Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle
époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades,

modern day workers continue to take advantage of the
legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th
century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and
cinemas sit side by side with French bistros

Bonjour ! No dress code , this is a tourist area ! Maybe on a Saturday evening , you would be expected to wear ''formal but casual '' as you may see people coming from the Opera in the winter !

The restaurant's refined decor is a faithful illustration of the Art Nouveau style, with its original mosaics and its crystal Saint-Louis chandeliers a truly Parisian institution located on the Place des Ternes. The head chef prepares a refined, traditional French cuisine using the freshest ingredients. An immensely popular restaurant with both Parisians and discerning tourists, who appreciate beautifully prepared food.
