One of my favorite late night restaurants in Paris. Not as quaint as "chez Denise" nor as family style as "Tambour" but very pleasant nevertheless. The walls are covered with signs of celebrities who visited there (probably for dinner after their stage performances). Good food,...More

While the food is good, you will be paying for the history and ambiance at this white tablecloth restaurant decorated with brass plaques with the names of the famous who have eaten there, including Frank Sinatra, Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones.

A bit over crowded with tables and chairs but that is expected in Paris. The setup of our tale was quiet awkward as we had to to move the table in order to step our of the restaurant or use the washrooms. We were seating...More

We arrived and the maitre d was very friendly. We asked to change table which was no problem. The food was fine. Steak good but duck confit dry. The 70 Euro bottle of wine I ordered was just opened and plopped on the table. The...More

I went there with my husband on a Saturday night without reservation, there was no problem for the table. The waiter was funny and nice, we had a very good meal, food was fresh with generous portions. The only thing is that the prices of...More

We travelled with our two children and it was recommended by the front desk person at the hotel. He said we would have some great things to say and he was right! The food was very good. We all had the meat plate but it...More

Not a cozy place. Uncomfortable table arrangment. Really bad arrogant service, just because I don't speak French, had to ask the waiter 3 times for everything. He kept running away.

Have a dinner with my friend, little Christmas tasting! Being already before few times for early bird menu and business lunches. Excellent food, high quality of execution and great taste. Good wine list! Perfect place for romantic dinner or business lunch.

Food very good. Really French but waiters friendly and and efficient. Oeufs coccots delicious and tartar hand whipped by waiters taking their turn. Would go again.

This is quite a tourist choice rather than local French but it was of a good standard and the service and ambiance is good. My partner's veal kidneys in mustard were excellent and my prune pudding was jolly. All in all we'd go back. I...More

Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris,
Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but

I'd have to agree with Mary Lou. It's a beautiful place with lovely food so if your children are of an age to appreciate it then it should be fine. Not really ideal for Toddlers or young babies.

Open all night from 7pm to 5am , you are welcome in an authentic 1930's restaurant where stands a beautiful old "zinc". Do not be surprised to meet international stars because the owner Paul Racat who looks after this Parisian institution has built a solid reputation.
