The food was wonderful in this great restaurant, as it always has been when I have visited. Not just souffles... my daughter had fish and I had steak for main course, with DELICIOUS souffles for dessert. But the attentive staff really helped make the evening...special, especially our waiter, Enzo, who deserves a special mention - thank you again, Enzo! My daughter Joanne and I were visiting her twin sister and then had the Sunday evening to ourselves before our return home on Monday 25 April. Well done to all the Recamier team!More

On hotel recommendation we went to Le Recamier for the soufflés and had pre-advised gluten intolerance. Not very impressed to discover that the only soufflé that was gluten free was the vegetarian one. Even the cheese soufflé apparently contained gluten and the waiter was not...prepared to ask the chef if he/she could accommodate us. Left the restaurant after taking the only GF option with a feeling of being let down and disappointed. I’m sure more could have been done and wished it had, but attitudes were not of the ‘can do’ type or of the ‘let’s make this good for the paying customer’ type. Shame really and we have told the hotel.More

The savory souffles are absolutely delicious. They might seem a little pricy, but for a lovely evening in a nice setting they are worth the Eruos. The service is typically French, efficient and not overly intrusive. For dessert I ordered the Grand Marnier souffle, and...much to my surprise an entire bottle of Grand Marnier was placed on the table for me to douse the souffle as I saw fit. Needless to say, the more the merrier!More

We found Le Recamier to be an amazing restaurant in a very special setting. My wife and I made sure to get a reservation there during our honeymoon because we had read that Le Recamier had some of the best souffles in Paris. That was...absolutely true! My wife's chocolate souffle was the best she's ever had, and I was amazed by the Grand Marnier souffle, which is the house specialty. They left a bottle of Grand Marnier on the table for me to add to the souffle at my leisure, and it was the perfect complement to the out of this world dessert! But Le Recamier is much more than just souffles. We loved the outdoor seating area which is very romantic for couples and quite comfortable for any other group of friends wanting to enjoy great dining. My white fish dish was really flavorful and cooked to perfection. I also got the butternut squash soup which hit my taste buds just right. The service was top notch, and we left feeling great about the entire experience. Merci Beaucoup, Le Recamier! What a wonderful night in a beautiful setting with even better food!More

On our first trip to Paris after 23 months we celebrated out last evening in Paris with a special meal. We found about this place by chance and it was also only 5 minutes walk from our hotel. We began with a Kir . One...of us had the delicious pumpkin soup as a starter and the other avocadoes with two sauces. One main course was a haddock soufflé , which came with a small jug of cheese sauce, and the other was a sea bass. Both were very tasty, we washed it down with glasses of "quincy" . We ended by both having Grand Marnier soufflé and they gave us each a bottle of Grand Marnier with a small spout to garnish it with. It was delicious.More

We didn't want to leave Paris before trying a proper souffle and therefore our last lunch happened here. Lovely terrace and super friendly staff, a very laid back atmosphere and calm vibes. Apart from veal kidney (something else I definitely wanted to try and fell...in love with) we went all-in for souffles and ordered 5 of them: the savoury salmon and thyme goat cheese ones and, on the sweet side, the dark chocolate, pistachio and caramel/fleur de sel. We were blown away, the fine taste and delicate texture of souffles, paired beautifully with complementing sauces were simply exquisite. I thought I had souffles before, but I realised I was wrong, they were just souffle attempts. A special note for the Whispering Angel wine, much appreciated by some of our group. So, highly recommended, up to the point where this will be our first stop when we're back in Paris.More

This is a very pretty restaurant in a quiet cul de sac round the corner from the Lutetia. They specialize is soufflés, sweet and savory, and most of our fellow diners were tucking in. The night we went, the service fell apart - we scarcely...saw a waiter - and the signature cheese soufflé I ordered was heavy and gluggy. The price is not low so the value for money was non existent.More

Outdoor patio in a small alley was very romantic. Had a cheese soufflé and husband had an escargot soufflé. Loved it so much had a grand marnier soufflé for dessert (and you pour your one!) food was excellent, price was reasonable and service was amazing!

A great service but the meal was not up to the standards. The dark chocolate soufflé was good though. The terrace is nice.

Soufflés are excellent… sadly very poor service We have ordered the table almost 3 weeks ago to be sure we have the table under the « tonnelle » which I was confirmed to have. When we arrived, reservation was wrong (4 instead of 5) and apparently the...table for 6 was « already reserved »… so we ended up on the other side, exactly where we dit NOT want to sit as it is not covered, no light and not cosy at all. Wonder why we did not leave as on top of it, the person in charge of the table was were unpleasant. Clearly there are 2 clients here, the known and the others. … despite we live next door ! Then after more than 30 min waiting to pass the order we had to ask .. finally we ordered … another 30 min to get the food which was all mixed … main courses came together with starters …. Well, sad as the evening at almost 300€ was not what it was supposed to be … Not sure I would recommend. You can get soufflés with a better service in other places in Paris., so even if it means not walking distance from home, I’d rather choose another place. Sad for the food but service is at lead as important when you get to that budget.More
