Two of us had a dinner here on a Saturday night, and what a great experience it was! The experience started by having some snacks from the kitchen - mini shrimps that were to be eaten as a whole. I had never done that before, but hey, it was a seafood restaurant so time to give it a try. For... More

Had dinner here one evening, the service was timely giving us ample opportunity to enjoy both the atmosphere and the food. Would not hesitate to go back and would recommend this establishment.

We wanted seafood so we made reservations. The place is small and seating is tight. Menu is in French, but they have an iPad with pictures of the food for ordering. We started with the oysters and for our entrees we had the scallops and prawns. The food was excellent, great service and a nice wine selection. They also have... More

Went with my son for dinner. Atmosphere was friendly and service attentive. Hands down great oysters. Our waiter had amazing encyclopedic knowledge of different types, brands etc of oysters. We also had the fried anchovies and pans fried langoustines, both really fresh and really tasty. It's a pleasure dining at a place where they know the product and take pride... More

We've been to Paris upwards of 40 times. This restaurant embodies "you get what you pay for " in a number of ways. If you're on a budget and haven't put something aside for a special experience than this restaurant is not for you, as it is pricey....6 #2 oysters ("huitre"....No. 1 is the largest size) will set you back... I was travelling with friends in Paris. We had heard of the wonderful oysters available from the English Channel. We found L'Huitrier on a list online. We decided to go after reading other reviews. I need to add my own rave about this great place. The waiter was very helpful in describing the oysters. We ordered only oysters even though... More

We went here for lunch not knowing what to expect. All I can say is everything was amazing, the setting is not over the top, but it's cozy and inviting. The staff was great, and the oyster and seafood were amazing. It was so wonderful, we came back that night for dinner.

My husband and I came here for dinner and was greeted with friendly staff. We wanted to eat oysters as this is the beginning of the season for sweet and fat oysters. The staff/manager was able to recommend the good oysters and we really liked his suggestions. The normandy oysters were so sweet and fleshy. We had Fine De Claires... More

Dropped by during my first visit to Paris and I certainly don't regret it! The seafood here is honestly top notch, notably the oysters and prawns. They have several types of oysters here that you can mix and match, with different flavors for different preferences. Personally my family preferred the Irish and Gillardeau/Tia Maraa. As for the meat, the steak... More

This restaurant is highly recommended for extremely fresh oysters, shackled just before it reaches your table. We had made a booking for lunch at 12:30, most of the other guests arrive after 1:00pm. Pros: Excellent service received from the staff at this restaurant. The waiter had explained the specials in English and provided an iPad with photos of the dishes... More
