Hole in the wall restaurants excite me for the no-frills approach. On my trip to Paris, I made it a point to try out this place which is all over social media. My falafel was stuffed and doused with yogurt sauce just the way I like it. I even added the spicy sauce for that extra kick. If only Paris... More

We ate inside so it was more expensive (30-some Euros for two). Staff members spoke enough English to communicate our orders. It was a very good Fallafel and worth a stop if you're in the area but I don't think I'd go out of my way for it.

The atmosphere is chaotic and vibrant. Be prepared to sit close to strangers - all part of the vibe. Also be prepared to line up at peak times. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is fresh and delicious. Excellent "chicken steak", falafel and humous. The mint lemonade is very refreshing. It's the perfect spot to refuel after... Can't beat it! Right in the middle of a great bunch of Jewish bakeries and spots, and it's terrific. Excellent falafel, they have interesting unique canned drinks from Israel, and the entire vibe is excellent. Don't miss this one.

Many years ago we stopped by here by accident to grab a quick bite. It was without a doubt the best falafel we've ever had. We frequently visit Paris and stop here every chance we get. And it never disappoints.

I took falafel here (to take away) several times and I've never never disappointed. The quality is very good and the price is fine.

Located in the Marais section of Paris. Great selection of middle eastern food. We especially liked the falafel and eggplant. The restaurant was written up in the New York Times and Fodors. You can do takeout or be seated in the restaurant.

Food is good but it is better to take away as you can save money and time. Take away menu is similar to eat in.

This is the best place. The falafel are huge, fresh and great. But the hot sause on the table is so wonderful really hot, tasty and special. The staff is quick, sweet and it is a great place for lunch, dinner and stop to refresh. They have beer, wine and the best hot sauce on the table. Really great falafel,... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
