I have never had so much regret in visiting a restaurant. I wish I had read others' TripAdvisor reviews before making reservations at L'Arpege a month in advance (I went off of World's Best and Michelin ratings). I am going to say the same thing...More

We made reservations over 2 months in advance to dine at L'Arpege and given all the hype they even took ages to confirm one addition to our reservation of three. On the evening of our meal, the air conditioning was not working - and the...More

I am a big fan of chef Passard and it pains me to give him only 2 stars but for a restaurant that touts itself as best in the world, it was anything but. I have been in F&B for over 25 years and currently...More

I had made our reservation at L'Arpege before I had seen the episode of Chef's Table: France, so my excitement rose even higher after that. This place was just off the charts good!! No doubt it was pricey, but we knew that going in so...More

No ambivalence-a BUST. This made it clear to me that Michelin stars are way out of touch with what is creative and great at the moment where new and innovative always trumps pretension. We were there for lunch in the boiling hot cave basement. No...More

After watching the show on chef's table documentary series, we were excited to try this truly farm to table concept. I cannot say it was as good as other 3 star restaurants, but we enjoyed our meal. I have dined at many nice French restaurants...More

We went for lunch and tried the tasting menu. The staff were attentive and informed and dressed immaculately. You got a huge sense of pride beaming from them. The vibe of the restaurant was truly special, everyone eagerly awaiting the dishes which were served in...More

Wow. WOW! My husband and I came here during our first trip to Paris, and it was, without a doubt, the BEST meal I have ever had. My husband booked the reservation before our trip, and then told me to watch Alain's episode of Chef's...More

It pains me to write this review since I met Alain Passard and he was a very nice man. However, I am surprised that this restaurant is even a Michelin rated restaurant. I have been to many three-star Michelin restaurants, most recently 11 Madison Park...More

First- they cancelled our lunch reservation because they did not have a credit card to reserve our table. We did not know that they required this: they never asked for it; just rudely cancelled our reservation made months before. Ruined our day. We went there...More

Surprisingly, there is not a dress code. I wouldn't wear jeans or a t-shirt, but nice casual attire is perfectly acceptable.
