As usual, the welcome and service were excellent. We were a little disappointed with the main course as my lamb was overcooked and my husband's fish was not to write home about. Another odd thing was their attempt with Lebanese food; not Noura but creative.

This restaurant offers very good food in gracious setting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is near the Palais Garnier and is open late, so it it an excellent choice for a post performance dinner.

Drouant is worth the trip for several reasons. First of all, the square it is on in the 9th is picturesque. The inside of the restaurant is charming and the wait staff top notch. I had the chicken dish which I have to say was...More

Might deliver the Prix Goncourt but would not be receiving Michelin stars... Service was at best described as chaotic: had to ask 3 people to make order and when ordered wine, we got water. The food was really nothing special but expensive. You can eat...More

Lunch was classic, beautifully plated, and elegant in a serence setting just blocks from the opera house. Every bite was rich and delicious.

Classy restaurant, ideal for informal as well as for meeting dinners. Kind and attentive service. I just found the poulet dish nothing special while they suggest it as one of the specialisties of their menu and compared to other original choises they offer.

Very good food but at times I was asking myself if I was at a French or an Asian restaurant. Confused me a bit but overall food was good, service was also ok.

Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle
époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades,
and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here,
modern day workers continue to take advantage of the
legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th
century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and
cinemas sit side by side with French bistros
predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in

Hi - I have been lucky enough to visit Paris many times. Dress code is smart casual, generally. But the French are always well dressed, so don't be under dressed and don't wear jeans!!

Located in the Opéra neighbourhood, Le Drouant is a hot destination eatery – open 7 days a week – with five private rooms and a pleasant mezzanine. It is a real institution! Every year the famous Prix Goncourt takes place in one of the private rooms. You will appreciate its Brasserie ambiance and Art-Deco decoration married with a contemporary design. Black furniture and golden walls create a genuine experience, as well as outdoor seating. Plus, inventive menus seduce a varied crowd and satisfy varied appetites. Let’s relish the Chef’s hors d’oeuvre served by theme, in 4 small portions – Tomato Gaspacho, Peking Prawns, Marbled Ham and Stuffed Fajitas.Other products to taste: Veal Foie gras from Corrèze and roasted Cod.
