As an American, I love working in coffee shops and lunch spots but you don't find that much in France (other than Starbucks). This place not only has my favorite sandwiches in Paris (especially the Ines), but it also has lots of salad options (rare in Paris) and a room upstairs where you can catch up with friends, work on... Sandwiches are made with Focaccia bread in a pizza oven! All fresh ingredients. They also have great salads. Reasonable prices specially for Paris. Queues could be pretty large, specially at noon.

Laid back, friendly and great sandwiches make this a must lunch spot in the 6th. Good vibe, oven baked flatbread and nice salads make this the ideal spot in 6th for a lunch.

The sandwiches are delicious; they make their own bread there. It's a substantial and affordable meal. You can also go upstairs, sit down, and eat while using their free wifi. The staff speaks English, so ordering is incredibly easy.

I really recommend the sandwiches of Cosi which had special breads and they had also 3 course menus (include a soft drink and a dessert) which were really economic.

A nice array of sandwiches, soup and salads — all prepared fresh and on site. Chalkboard menu with the day's choices listed in both French and English. Soft drinks, juice, water, beer and wine also on offer. Very simple but, pleasant counter service. One cues up and orders. The kitchen is quick and you can eat your meal on premise... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
