Friends told us about this Moroccan restaurant and we finally had the chance to try it! Everything was excellent, the cous-cous so delicious, the lamb, the chicken, all very genuine and fresh. After 9 is packed so reserve! Nice old French atmosphere, very good service.

Not bad, but there is better couscous elsewhere. Very popular, so it doesn't seem to be a problem for them.

I'd read that this was a must go-to place in the neighborhood, and it was packed on a Monday night. Tables were so close together that we had to shift our table to the side when the people sitting next to us wanted to leave/arrive. Come here for the couscous We chose the Merguez sausages, which were good. The couscous... More

I you want a good busy restaurant serving couscous then come here. The food is good. This is place where the locals go to eat couscous prices are reasonable the service is straightforward and they push through a lot of people. don't expect a table on your own it is not an intimate restaurant

A favorite spot for dinner. The cous cous and veggies are very good, so is the huge dessert tray. Every time we go for dinner it is packed with people and we often need to cue for a table but it is totally worth the wait.

Good food, good portions. Restaurant was full. Friendly staff and welcoming service. Found many local people besides tourists. On the whole a good place to enjoy the evening.

Great atmosphere, attentive waiters and authentic couscous. The Couscous Royal (chicken, lamb shoulder, mergeuz) is always a safe bet!

We went to the restaurant for an early dinner and we tried their couscous , portions are big but we could finish it all since food was really light , no exta oil / grease in any food. Mild flavors, the beef was very nice, I forgot name of the dish. It does not have any separate tourist menu. Regards,... More

Epic place. Best couscous in Paris. Very good service. A lot of people eat here which is always a good sign. We arrived a little after 20.00 for dinner and 20 minutes after the restaurant was full.

I really love this place. Not fancy, not delicate but simply delicious, good food. The couscous is so fine and light. The vegetable stew is great and the cuts of meat and delicious. The beef that is cooked so it falls apart like butter is just great. Brusque service but worth a trip for excellent Algerian. I love bringing people... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
