This was one of the best bistros we ate at during 2+ weeks in Paris recently. Attractive but typical bistro interior, food very good to excellent (smoked salmon with lentil salad, rabbit in mustard sauce, sweetbreads, sorbet). Big plus was the attentive very friendly service...More

We loved this place. We come back after 3 years and still love it! This type of french cuisine is different than the typical. You need to try it. The lentil salad and the duck are a must. The chocolate mousse is decadent. The mashed...More

Having been recommended to Auvergne regional specialties the restaurant was a disappointment. Left in a small front portion of the restaurant service was severely lacking. Food was very average and only true specialty was the cheesy potato mash. Otherwise typical French fare. Not worth a...More

I go lost trying to get to Isle St Louis and speed this restaurant. The many years of Michelin ratings made me curios, so I checked it out here. The ratings were good and informative. There was a positive rating with a negative, about the...More

I stopped here for lunch because it reminded me of the beginning of the Voie Le Puy-en-Velay walk that I had recently completed six months ago. The luncheon specials gave a choice of entrée+plat or plat+dessert for EUR 22,50. Today's specials were salade de lentilles...More

One of the best places I have been hosted. The food was great, the staff was friendly and hospitable, and the owner was attentive beyond our expectations. Highly recommended place for a French cuisine place. I admire the owner and his success with this place.

it is listed on their set lunch menu, so it's a safe assumption. Also this is one of their signature dishes, as Aligot is a common sight in Auvergne restaurants.
