We've been here many many times but not for 3 years until we visited again yesterday. At 6pm we were too early for dinner ( from 7pn) but happily and peacefully enjoyed a drink - wine and tea until we moved through to dinner at...More

The Bistro Melrose was an unexpected delight. We took the menu which was great price/quality ratio. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and service was excellent. The atmosphere was authentically French and we had a very enjoyable evening.

Staying near Place de Clichy, I had wandered out for lunch without any particular plan about where to eat except somewhere local. The main streets around here have plenty of food offerings but this one stood out even from the outside with it's attractive appearance...More

I had "The Lunch" - starting with an appetizer course of fish soup. It was delicious and creamy. The tapenade with bread was fine. The main course was duck fillet on mashed potatoes. I think the duck fillet was cooked fantastic - it was medium...More

Looked promising, the bread and tapendade were amazing, 6 out of 8 people at our table (for lunch) were disappointed with their food. Service was a little slow but that could be because we were in a hurry and meal timing is different in France.

Considering its location in a real tourist area this bistro represents very good value at least for its set price menu (39 euros for an aperitif, 3 courses, a bottle of wine between two people and a coffee). The choice is more limited than on...More

My husband, a friend and I wanted dinner at a sidewalk cafe, and were delighted with our choice of Le Bistro Melrose. As soon as we were seated our server brought us complementary aperitifs, helped us select our food and made us feel at home....More

We always pay a visit to Bistro Melrose when in Paris. It is not perhaps up to the standards of the best Brasseries, but then again it is priced accordingly. The 38 euro menu includes an aperitif, three courses a decent choice of a bottle...More

Description
This bistro is a concept-restaurant that honors French cooking and hospitality with an all-inclusive 3 courses, house aperitif, half bottle of wine each and coffee for 36 per person. Bistro Melrose restaurant in Paris at the foot of Montmartre has all the bustling energy of the Place de Clichy. This small, intimate bistro with its traditional decor of red velvet banquettes and draperies, brass chandeliers, pretty cupolas, white linened-tables with nosegays of fresh flowers is a comfortable haven in a busy part of the capital. Some fans cross town to get here. The seasonally changing menu offers both traditional French cuisine like roast rack of lamb with rosemary jus and gratin potatoes and more innovative dishes like sizzling gambas flavoured with citronella with fresh Tagliatelli. Excellent service and a pretty terrace for sunny days.
