Great ambiance in an historic Parisian restaurant. The food was good, but not very special. Service was excellent which gave it an extra star.

Super fresh oysters! Delicious snails and onion soup made to order! I didn't order any main course as I ordered too many appetizers (oyster, snail and onion soup), which were all my favorite dish, and it didn't disappoint me. The waiters were super nice and response to your request promptly! Really worth it! Must try when you visit Paris❤

Lovely restaurant and good food. We had prawns and oysters to start with followed by mains of turbot and vegetables. Then we had a nougat ice delicious and an assortment of mini deserts creme brûlée, mousse, rum baba and macaroon and coffee with chocolate. Good understanding of gluten free.

Traditional cosy French restaurant with a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and attentive. An English translation of the menu was available and the staff were bi-lingual. My wife and I enjoyed two courses which were of high quality followed by a shared desert to finish a very enjoyable evening. Would recommend to any visitor looking for French... More

Our dinner at this restaurant on our last night in Paris made our trip extra special. Excellent Selection, very friendly staff (all around), made us feel welcome and helped us decide on a great wine. I highly recommend you stop here - great food that won't empty your wallet.

One of the few restaurants open in the area on a Sunday night! Varied menu with a fixed price menu available. Friendly and efficient staff. Food we chose was excellent! - the French onion soup starter was a meal in itself!

After a few days of supercilious waiters, mediocre food, packed spaces and outrageous prices, this was water in the desert. Human service, excellent food (souris d'agneau - lamb shank - was delicious), extensive but sensible wine list, well-spaced tables... a very fortunate discovery.

This place was recommended by out hotel staff. It was wonderful. The decor is brass, woodwork and mirrors. There's a guy outside with oysters and other shellfish and if you order any he brings them in. I had the 'all included' special so I don't know what wine. For starters I had the legumes with bacon. I didn't really like... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
