Our last meal in Montmartre and I wished I had eaten there sooner. This is a proper traditional French restaurant with decoration that can only be assembled with, reputation and history. The food is classic no nonsense French cuisine, excellently prepared and presented. The staff are experienced, patient and polite with floundering French. The restaurant cat and kitchen dog only add... More

we came here very spontaneously last night. The place looked very authentic and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is obviously family-run, including dog and cat everyone is on site - which gives you a kind of "home" feeling, that I personally like. The food was very good and the service very friendly!

After five or ten minutes we got the menu. After another five or ten minutes we got the menu of the day placed in front of us. After an additional five minutes, the staff started to feed their cat. So after sitting their, waiting to order, for about 20 minutes we just had enough and left. I am not sure... More

We visited this restaurant based on the recommendation of our tour guide, and we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere was incredibly authentic to the area. After enjoying our meal, we were just steps away from other local bars to enjoy the rest of our evening. I would definitely recommend this... More

Visited whilst on a city break in Paris after a recommendation from a man we met the previous night. Lovely service with them making an effort for us to understand the menu as there was no English translated menu. Lovely food that wasn't too pricey, in a good location just a short walk from a lively area for drinks afterwards... More

We didn't eat here but stopped by for a pre-dinner drink. Lovely old place with original decor. Good selection of local wines.

We much enjoyed our meal at the restaurant. Typical French food, fresh and delicious. Our best meal we have experienced in Paris with nice smiles of the waiter and the fantastic manager. They even explained their tasty dishes in Italian. We really liked their efforts in pleasing us, even though were their last guests of 2016! We were delighted by... More

I have eaten here a few times and the food is always delicious. This time we just came for drinks, the bar was empty but the place was busy as usual. Received a comp'd glass of bubbly (based on the per glass or per bottle pricing.) The service can be 'particular', but I don't pay it any mind. If you... More

The service was very arrogant and the food was terrible. Taste like microwave and fake food. Paid almost 65€ for 2 meals.

Went for beers with a couple of friends early in the evening. Got introduced to the owners by a French speaking acquaintance, all was good and well. The couple running the restaurant then proceeded to ignore our attempts at ordering for about 30 minutes (restaurant was half empty and no other customers at the bar). We left as we came.... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
