This is an elegant vegan restaurant with a lovely atmosephere close to Bastille. Soft music in the background. Menu has about 4-5 starters and 4-5 main courses. Each one is very creatively conceived, unusual. The presentation is outstanding in terms of aesthetics. And, the tastes...More

A most bizarre evening. First of all, if you book on-line, you have to choose one of two "seatings", either 1830 or 2030. We arrived at 1827, expecting a whole line of other folks who had reserved for the first seating, and lo and behold,...More

Exceptional vegan dining, one of the best vegan meals that I have had anywhere in the world. We had the seven course tasting menu and it was incredible. Each course was better than the last. Pricy but worth it. Go hungry if you are going...More

It’s pretty simple for a reviewer to go to a five-star place and then give it five stars, but that isn’t always the case. Sometimes I find the place overrated or having a bad night, and give fewer stars. Not so here. I second what...More

Nice deco & well mannered service. Our starter ravioli with vegan chorizo was really good and well presented, the main dishes too. I've had just a slight preference for my husband's portobello burger as the tonka bean sauce for my vegan blanquette was a little...More

I decided to try this place after finding it on Instagram. I am SO happy that I did. I decided to do the tasting menu for myself. It was amazing. The food wasn't trying to mimic meat in any way. It's all vegetables and some...More

My husband and I went to Gentle Gourmet for dinner on our last night in Paris. We both ordered "Le Fume" as an appetizer and I had "Le Fameux" (a portobello mushroom burger) for my entree. Both were rather bland and it seemed as though...More

Vegetarians and vegans in Paris need not fear, the world has come a long way since picking jambon from your baguette.. It is a small and cosy restaurant in a nice area. The menu is seasonal and so always fresh. The service is very friendly...More

Went here to celebrate my birthday, it was such a treat. Three courses of incredible gourmet vegan food, so impressive. The highlight was the vegan macaroon. If you’re looking for somewhere special, this is a real winner.

Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made
for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming
bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s
at night this area really comes to life. Students and
young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille
and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock
to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait
for coveted tickets during the day. Towards
