Yes, this is not traditional Japanese cuisine, it's kinda fusion one. But it is excellent, creative and the stuff is nice. Must visit

We love to eat Japanese and we wanted to try something new and different. The place is cosy and the waiters are kind and helpful. The food is simply exquisite and the Makis are very different from all the other places and beyond succulent!! We'll definitely go back again and again, also with our children who love to eat Japanese... More

I came here and tried their Premium Charashi at €28 where you trust the chef for the best chef and rice bowl. Well he put together an absolute embarrassment of Japanese cuisine. A weird salad, some disguesting shrimp tempura, a little salmon and tuna and then the best part of all mashed potatoes. It's a joke right?? To put mashed... More

Love this last discovery in St Germain district in a hidden little street, rue du Sabot, this place is a gift. The Japanese cuisine of this cosy restaurant is really special : their specialty the Makis, but not the usual one you could expect: new flavours are explored, unexpected matches, combining ingredients in a special way. The food is tasty... More

This was a great sushi restaurant. It didn't feel overpriced, but the atmosphere was excellent....fancy, yet casual. You do need a reservation, and the sampler dessert is a must! It is their blueberry pie and then two mystery desserts that are not on the menu (and change). We got a lemon cheesecake and a meringue made into a strawberry shortcake.... More

If you are looking for traditional sushi, you should not go to Blueberry, but if you are looking for California-style sushi, this is THE PLACE! My favourite dish? Rakham Le Rouge, a sushi mixing, very successfully, red tuna and truffle. The staff is friendly and the cocktails are a killer. Excellent for an evening out with friends!

Sashimi, sushi, maki, you name it and for once the menu is understandable in a Japanese restaurant. We had quite a selection among which 1 Omakase ie surprise from the chef. Among the menu items my preferred were Rakham le rouge and Sleeping beauty.

The food was excellent and the makis are creative. However they're quite expensive at around 2-3 euros per maki. With desserts and wine the bill goes up to around 100€ per person. This is fine, except that the bottle of wine we had cost 45€ but on Vivino it averages around 5€ in the supermarket, and that's not acceptable.

Description

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares.
