Tucked away on a little side street, this small place is a local favorite. We enjoyed a 3 course souflee dinner & dessert like nothing we ever had in US. Very French. Very delicious.

Visiting the Musee du Luxembourg La Cuisine de Philippe is an ideal location to lunch. It is a traditional French restaurant. I'm delighted to have discovered it since there are far too many chain or fast food places for my taste. The chef greeted me,...More

Really out of the way and difficult to find. Very warm and friendly staff. Hamburgers big and very tasty. Odd because on place of sliced cheese they use a creamed form of cheese making the burger bet messy but quite tasty. Good for families.

First, reservations are a must. I have been here several times with reservations and have seen people turned away as every table was reserved. This is a very small restaurant with great food. The chef always has a special souffle for starter and dessert as...More

I enjoyed an excellent coq au vin with a side of potatoes gratin. The first course was an unusual terrine of cubes of slow cooked beef-unusual and a little bland. Superb chocolate soufflé. My wife had roast duck with an excellent sauce and several vegetables....More

I was so excited to eat here but what we experienced does not line up with other very positive reviews. This was the only place where we dined during our stay where the staff was not friendly. They also seemed to want to rush us....More

Since it was close to my hotel I just walked over the day before and made a dinner reservation for the next night at 7:30 which is a bit early for dinner in Paris but before I had the main course the place was packed!

Description
It opened in January this year at the location of the former Kiwi Corner restaurant. It has been rated on thefork.com website at 8.2/10. We've eaten there and found the restaurant to feature classic French cooking, extremely well prepared in a small congenial restaurant across from the Luxembourg Gardens. We sampled the dishes and found all of them very good to excellent. Nice choice of reasonably priced wines too. I particularly liked the Grand Marnier Souffle. The best part is the very reasonable prices which are shown on the thefork.com website.
