We ate here one night in Paris. The service was the best we had on our trip. The food was very good, although not the best we had on the trip. No complaints, but we weren't really raving about our meals either. Great atmosphere, feel and service though.

We tried to book a table online a short while in advance of our trip to Paris unfortunately to no avail (they were fully booked), so we were delighted when Cecilia at Hotel Fabric recommended this restaurant and managed to secure us a table the next day. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted, our coats were promptly taken and we... More

The owner was friendly and one had the impression that he was serious regarding the service and the quality of the food. He was very concerned that the wine glasses were polished and shined (which in mine opinion is a sign of a good bistro). The bistro was even nicer as it appeared on the photos.

Hard to find anything wrong with Le Chemise. Start with the foie gras made in house. I hope to come back in the summer when the steak tartare is on the menu again!

We visited on a Monday evening and although it wasn't at its busiest it still had a brilliant atmosphere - it's great place for a dinner for two. The food was exceptional (the best of our stay in paris) and the service was also brilliant. Definitely recommended!

This is one gem of a restaurant on a small side street not far from Place de la Republique. An easy to choice in our case as our hotel was just about opposite. While we were traveling on business, this seems to be a popular choice for a dinner date. And no wonder, the cooking is superb and the ambience... More

This small, relaxed restaurant is tucked away down a side street and so inconspicuous that it is easy to miss. It was recommended by a member of staff at the hotel across the road, and we really enjoyed the meal. Starting with a rich veloute of chestnuts, we then chose veal sweetbreads, cheese, and brioche perdue from a simple menu,... More

This restaurant was directly across the street from our hotel, yet is so circumspect we did not notice it until our concierge pointed it out. With all the restaurants to choose and try in Paris, we were pleasantly pleased with our entire experience. So much so, that we returned 2 nights later. Fabian and Cassandra were professional, courteous and attentive!... More

Since it was our last night in Paris I didn't want to go anywhere far from the hotel. After doing some research on TripAdvisor I found this place. So glad I did Very small and quaint restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff as the menu is in all French. They explained everything for us in detail. Every dish was... More
