Lovely little Irish bar in the heart of Paris, excellent atmosphere at night with the live music and very good bar staff. The french toast is a winner.

I was looking over internet about a bar with Rock n roll live music and Guinness Tavern was the first option. Despite of the (low) quality of the band which was playing over there was nice to have some old rock n roll playing. Customer service is terrible, one of the waiters was aggressive and arrogant. The bar has a... More

Great pub with all sorts of beers, relatively cheap (we're still in Paris!), friendly service and good live shows. Perfect for an escape in the city.

Went there for some drinks with a friend. Paint of lager for just 4 or 5 euros which is nice for the city center, even tho better prices can be found close by. The waiters were in mode hangover I think but they were quite friendly. It seems they do live music, wasnt on a sunday tho.

Honestly, I just don't get the extatic reviews I read here. There's tons of great bars in Paris, even right next to this one. It charges almost twice what the competitors next door charge for mediocre beer. 9.50€ for a pint of a watery generic brew because there's "a band inside". Do yourself a favor and pick any of the... Nice Irish Pub with a great selection of beers, live Rock music, and friendly (not overbearing) staff. Worth trying the Beer of the Month, it can be a good surprise!

Located in the middle of the Chatelet district! It's a really busy bar on a weekend night!!! The atmosphere is really good! We had amazing shots! However there's no signal or just a tiny little bit so if you want to use your phones, you need to go near the entrance or outside

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
