A wonderful find not too far from Notre Dame in an interesting street of markets and cafes. A menu that includes couscous, grillades and tangines. We all opted for the Brick a l'oeuf appetizer which my sister-in-law first introduced me to years ago. It is...More

We were very disappointed in Le Nuveau Village, Moroccan restaurant on Rue Xavier Privus. Please be wary of a restaurant who has a salesperson outside waiving you to come. This is not the Latin Quarter which is below Boulevard Saint Germain. The decor is very...More

I had a hankering for some ethnic food, so we found our way to the fifth arrondisement where lots of Greeks, Turks, and Arabs have restaurants. We were greeted and asked to join them for lunch. I enjoyed my vegetable couscous and a salad (both...More

I never had Moroccan food before so decided to try their couscous. There are plenty of restaurants in the Latin Quarter so pricing wise it is very competitive. I ordered the grilled chicken with beef sauce and couscous, and the food was good, not excellent,...More

And this was warmth for the cold day in Paris. Abundant, spicy and tasty. It just took too long to make it from the kitchen to our table. The waiter said when I asked him for the third time "Would you be in a hurry...More

Very friendly staff, great service and a wonderful menu. Even if you are not a fan of Middle Eastern food (though specifically Moroccan) you'll find something you'll like. In the heart of the Latin Quarter and our table afforded a great people-watching experience too.

amongst the dozens of 'tourist restaurants' (which are all pretty good and cheap in the Latin Quarter) is this. Great authentic food and good service. You don't need directions - the lady outside will find you and entice you in!

As another reviewer noted, they beckon you in from the street, offering you a free cocktail (which is actually called a "Kir". Nothing amazing, but good standard couscous. The spicy sausage, Merguez, was perfect. The couscous and savory vegetable stew we're quite good. Busy with...More

Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the
residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon
never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional
cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets
surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide
eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just
next door and the prototypical terraced French
brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this
